It's Halloween, and the Scoobies are hustling at a bustling
Magic Box. Dawn steals an amulet, and Xander finally announces his
engagement to Anya. The gang throws a party in celebration, during
which a concerned Tara confronts Willow about her excessive use
of magic, and Dawn sneaks out with a friend for a little misbehaving.
Dawn experiences her first date and her first kiss--with a vampire,
natch. Giles rides to the rescue, soon joined by Buffy, who's shanghaied
a slightly irritated Spike. Dawn's night of "firsts" extends to
her first kill as she dusts her date. Later, Buffy passes off disciplining
Dawn to Giles, and Willow uses a spell to make Tara forget their
earlier fight.
