As you'll see, I'm a fan of Spike. I started writing about three years ago (really?) and have found it to be the most rewarding hobby I've ever had. I write in a modified screenplay format because that's just how I imagine things--for me it seems organic to write a television show as a television show. I cheat a bit, though, and get into the characters' heads as necessary. The thing I like best about Joss Whedon is his way of mixing high drama with comedy. So that's what I try to do as well. I aim to make people giggle and cry in the same chapter...and maybe get a bit hot and bothered if there's time. If you go to my website, you'll see that my stories are always sprinkled with smut. I've thought about editing them to reach a wider audience, but I just can't bring myself to do it.
I don't take my writing THAT seriously, so am happy to receive all kinds of feedback.
