I began writing poetry and short stories at eleven, much to my mother's delight. Though I'm now in my late twenties and have relocated to a beach town in South Carolina, I still enjoy writing.
Lots of friends have asked me repeatedly why i write so much but never really show it to others. Like all writers, there is the niggling voice that constantly worries over rejection.
After seeing the amazing talent i've seen on countless sites, I find i now have the courage to do just that. As I've found the strength to present my own stuff (for better or worse) I'm hoping that others will find their own courage. |
