Dawn and Connor entered the wand shop and were greeted by the shop keeper, "Hello, how may I help you?" he asked warmly.
"We need some wands," Connor replied.
"Ah, yes of course. Um, let's see. Try this one," he says handing Connor a wand. He takes it. "Now swish and flick," the shopkeeper continued while he demonstrated the motion. Connor did so and broke a mirror.
Dawn giggled, "That's 7 years bad luck." Connor frowned in response.
"No, no. Um maybe this," the shopkeeper gave Connor another wand. He flicked it and several wands flew off a nearby shelf and almost hit Dawn, but she ducked just in time. "No definitely not."
"Hey," Dawn shouted in protest.
"Sorry," Connor replied sheepishly.
"Perhaps this will suit you," the shopkeeper said offering Connor another wand.
"You know I'm not exactly a wizard so are you sure this is going to work?" Connor asked, not taking the wand, afraid of what he might do if he did.
"Mr. Angel, I am going to share with you a bit of information and keep in mind I'm never wrong," the shopkeeper began.
Connor interrupted him, "Wait how do you know my..."
The shopkeeper held up his hand signaling for him to be silent and continue, "it is obvious you have some magical talent even if it be a marginal amount; otherwise you would not be here and although I believe that whatever talent you do posses is far to minuscule for you to ever peruse a career as a wizard. I do believe its enough to enable you to work a wand and the same goes for you M. Summers," he said turning to Dawn.
"I don't understand no one in either of our families are magical we're," Dawn began.
"You are the key are you not Ms.Summers?"
"Yeah, but."
"Therefore you posses some mystical properties instilling you with some magical gifts and Mr. Angel you are born of a birth that should have never happened. I think that puts a few tricks up your sleeves as well. Now please the wand," he said offering it again to Connor. He obeyed and a faint glow began to eminent from the wand. "Ah see I'm never wrong."

In case you were wondering Dawn received a 13in wand made of willow wood that contained the blood of a slayer and Connor bought a 14in wand made of yew wood that contains the blood of a vampire.

Connor and Dawn were again walking down Diagon Alley.
"I still don't trust him. I mean how does he know all that stuff," Connor stateed suspiciously.
"He said Dumbledore told him," Dawn reasoned.
"Yeah, but I don't know."
"You worry too much. Come on; we still need to get our books. There’s the bookshop," she said as she dragged Connor over to the door.

Gunn and Xander were walking around. Each carried a bag or 2.
"So, why do you think they picked us to teach Care of Magical Creatures?" Xander asked.
Gunn just shrugged, "I was just wondering the same thing. I don't usually take care of 'magical creatures'. I usually kill them."
"Yeah, but it could be fun in a almost get eaten kinda way" Xander joked.
Just then they noticed two very attractive witches, sitting at a table in front of some type of cafe. The witches noticed them watching and smiled to show their interest. Xander and Gunn smiled back and just as they were about to walk over to them Anya walked in front of them.
"What do you think you're doing?" she asked Xander fixing him with and angry stare.
"Huh?" he responded.
"Don't play dumb. I saw you staring at those 2 women!" she accused.
"Yeah, so"
"So stop sending me mixed signals! You shouldn't be flirting with other women when you're interested in me."
"Wait what?"
"You smiled at me and I saw you staring at my breasts! I know you find me attractive."
"Anya no offense but when a guy does that it just means his eyes are open."
"Men!" she yelled as she walked away. Xander looked at Gunn, who motioned for him to go after her. Xander sighed and began to go after her calling her name.

Sorry the shopping is talking so long but I'm trying to dedicate equal time to all the characters and develop their relationships. Also there are a few things I want to happen before they get to Hogwarts.
