Library at sundown.
Then entire gang is sitting at the table, when Angel walks in. Buffy runs over and gives him a hug. (How cute :)
“Allright guys, time for our announcement. There’s something that Angel and I need to tell you, I’m pregnant with twins,” Buffy says.
“Wow,” Oz gasps.
“What? Oh woah!” Xander chokes.
“Oh my god!!! That’s great...that is great, right?” Willow asks, stunned.
“I don’t know Will, it is what it is, you know? I mean, I can’t change it, so I just have to get used to it,” Buffy replies.
“Buffy, can I see you in my office?” Giles asks, speaking for the first time.
“Sure,” she says, and she follows him into his office.

Giles’ office.
“Um Buffy, what will you do about slaying for the nine months?” Giles asks (always the sensible one)
“Faith and Angel can take over, right? I mean, I won’t be much help after about the third month, but I can do stuff until then,” she replies.
“I guess so. Does your mother know?” He asks.
“Oh god, mom! I completely forgot about her. She’s coming back tonight from San Fransisco, I haven’t even told her about the wedding. Thanks for reminding me, Giles. I probably need to go so I can get dinner ready before I tell her. Bye,” She says as she runs out the door, grabs Angel, and runs with him out the door to the library.

The hallway.
Angel is being dragged through the hallway (rather roughly) when he stops Buffy. “Buffy, come on, slow down,” he says, “where are we going?”
“Home. Mom’s coming home tonight and we have to tell her,“ she says, “and I want to have dinner ready for us.”
“What are you making?”
“I was thinking steak. That way your’s can be very rare.”
“Very funny, seriously, can you cook?”
“Never tried, but how hard can it be?”
Angel gives a worried look as Buffy leads him outside and towards her home.

Buffy’s home, the kitchen.
Buffy and Angel are in the kitchen at about 6:30. Buffy’s got the grill out and is cooking the steak.
“Hey Buffy, When is your mom going to be home?” Angel asks.
“7:15. We’ve got 45 minutes. Top drawer over there on the right is the nice china. Get it out and hand wash it please.”
“Ok, what are we doing for drinks?” he asks as he gets out the china and starts washing it.
“What do you want? I’m going to have a daiquiri and we’ll give mom some wine...to calm her nerves.”
"Daiquiri sounds good for me, dishes are done.”
“Good, now that drawer, not that one, the other one...yeah. There’s the table cloth cover the table with it and put some candles out or something.”
“Ok, now what?”
“Can you make the daiquiris?”
“Yeah, sure, where’s the blender? I’m assuming virgin?”
“Huh?”
“Virgin daiquiri, non-alcoholic?”
“Oh, right. Yes, virgin. Blender’s in the cabinet under the sink. Yeah, that one.”
“Angel gets the blender out and makes the daiquiri as Buffy finishes the steaks. They set the dinner up and go upstairs so Buffy can change (Angel goes too so he doesn't have to face Joyce on his own). Once Buffy has changed, they go downstairs just as Joyce is walking in the door.
“Mom!” Buffy exclaims.
“Buffy, hello Angel.”
“Good evening Joyce,” Angel replies, trying to be as polite as possible.
“Mom, we made dinner, come sit down, we have something to tell you.”
They go and sit down, Joyce has a worried look on her face as she asks, “Buffy, did you make this?”
“Yeah mom, why? It’s good, I already tried some. So, what we were going to tell you....Angel and I are getting married and I am pregnant.”
“WHAT????” Joyce responds, quite obviously in shock.
