We see Angel in his office with lots of papers on his desk. Angel starts to fiddle with a pen of his as gunn opens up his office door and angel doesnt even notice that hes there. gunn finally says "if you play with that pen anymore the pen will play with you" Angel looks up and sees gunn. "gunn...i uhh i was just uhh thinking about something" "Angel a word of advice?" "guess i could use one" "Ask her out already." "how did you know? did someone tell you?" "nope. complete instinct. you will always stare at buffy when shes in meetings with you. so basically everyone in the building knows about you two. Ask her out, have fun. Stop mopeing around angel. lifes more than mopeing." "ok fine ill ask her out. but what if---" "Angel...just ask her" Angel starts to get up and he walks up to his office door and attempts to open it suddenly hes having second thoughts "what if buffy declines? what if she doesnt want to go out with me?" "Angel take a deep breath and get out of here!" gunn pushes angel out and angel bumps into buffy
"buffy? oh uhh sorry" "its ok angel" buffy starts to pick up her papers that fell on the floor. buffy picks up everything and starts to walk on suddenly angel starts to say something "uhh buffy..." buffy turns around and says " yeah?" Angel gets closer to her and they both look at eachother in the eyes "i was wondering if you wanted to uhh...go on...a date together?" buffy looks at him "you know just us...two...together...m-maybe dinner...buffy?" Buffy keeps on looking at him and says "sure...ill go on a date with you." buffy smiles and so does angel.
We see angel and buffy walking out of a restaurant and they're both talking. "that was a good dinner." "yeah, uhh buffy." "yeah?" "can we talk...just us like right now...right before we go anywhere else." "sure what is it?" "do you still love me?" "Angel..." "please buffy i have to know" "...yeah. i still love you." "i love you to buffy and i was wondering if you want to be my girlfri--" A demon suddenly attacks angel and buffy. buffy and angel were surprised but now their not. buffy kicks the demon in the shin and starts to punch his stomach but the demon doesnt even flinch. the demon scratches buffy on the arm and scratches angel on the chest. angel and buffy both are knocked out.
few hours later angel and buffy both awake and they start to get up and they both realize that they can see eachother. buffy suddenly says "wow...i look good in mirrors!" "buffy...i can see myself. which means that we--" buffy's eyeswiden "IM ANGEL!?!?!?" buffy looks at herself and says "AND YOUR ME!!!....this has got to be a nightmare" angel holds her hand and says "stay calm. we've got to go to giles and figure out how to cure this spell or whatever. we better leave now before the sun comes up and you turn into bacon." buffy holds angels hands and they both run to wolfram and hart hand in hand.............next chapter Hard Being Eachother
