When Dawn got back in her dorm room she picked up the phone,"Hi is Grace there?"
"Um yeah.Who's this?"The voice on the other phone asked.
"Oh,this is Dawn."
"Oh,hey Dawn.Hold on."It was Grace's roommate Keelie.
"Hey Dawn.Are you okay?I heard about what happened with connor and Jennifer.Actually I think everyone on campus did."
"Yeah,I'll be okay.Actually,that's what I was calling about.Have you seen Jennifer?Or Connor?I really don't want them together."
"Oh.Well,I saw Connor down at the gift shop and Jennifer was hanging out in the cafeteria with the lacross team.They probably went back to one of their dorm rooms and took turns.She is such a slut."
"Yeah.I found that out first hand.At least they weren't together.He left some stuff in front of my door."
"What did he leave?"She asked worried.
"Some chocolate,roses,and a card that he wrote.I left them outside though.oh hold on okay?Someone's on my other line."She clicked over,"Hello?"
"Hi."Connor whispered.
"What the hell do you want?"Dawn asked almost in tears again.
"I wanted to-"
"Apoligize?I told you,it means absolutly nothing. You mean nothing to me anymore.You hurt me and I can't help but think what Willow will do.I mean she'll probably tell buffy,and Xander,and Giles and they have a few other friends so..."
Crap,"So you did tell Willow?When is the public gonna see me casterated?"
Dawn silently laughed under all of her tears,"Connor.I don't love you.I don't love you.I don't love you!"She had to say it a few times but she still didn't convince herself.
"Dawn,please.I don't just want you in my life,I need you in my life.I'm nothing without you.Dawn please forgive me."
"Forgive you?!?How can I forgive you?!?You say you want me,you say you need me.How can I believe you?!?"She asked him and both of them were on the verge of tears.
"By accepting this."
"Accepting what?"There was a knock on her door and she hung up the phone.She opened the door and saw Connor on his hands and knees.
"By accepting my apology.And the gifts I brought you.I love you so much Dawn.Please just-"She jumped on him and kissed him.
"Connor.I love you.But if you hurt me again,I am gonna casterate you myself."She laughed and kissed him again.
