Disclaimer: I’m broke! Would Joss Weedon really sue me? No creator of Buffy or Angel could ever be that cruel!

Note: Thank you to wiccagirl314 and govermentstylists for reviewing, you’re awesome! Also

After Angel and Riley left Buffy finally felt some closure and control that feeling didn’t last for long.

Glory was getting impatient, that stupid vampire was nothing but a normal vampire!

“Though he was fun to torture,” Glory thought a smile crossing her way to red lips.

“Oh well as I always say ‘if at once you don’t succeed try, try and try again’. Actually I say torture them until I find the key, close enough.”

Looking into an orb she saw Tara alone on a bench at the fair, “Ooh witch’s girlfriend, now this should be fun.” Grinning with the prospect of watching the witch squirm, Glory walked to the park in her ridiculously high red pumps.

“I wonder where Willow is,” Tara thought nervously.

“What if she’s hurt?” Although Tara was used to be anxious about Willow it didn’t make it any better.

Glory approached Tara, seeing that she was still alone just made it so much easier.

“Hi are you waiting for someone?” Glory asked in a voice so sweet it sickened her.

“Yeah, b-but you can wait with me if you want,” Tara offered good naturedly.

“Thanks, I’m Tara,” Tara held out her hand to Glory who didn’t take it.

Sitting down Glory’s voice changed to patronizing, “Let’s skip the pleasantries, I’m Glory and your going to tell me who the key is.”

Horrified Tara managed to whisper, “Never.”

“Ok I’ll just torture you until never becomes now. Have you ever had anyone fingers in your brain? I’ve never had it done but my victim’s say it’s like a thousand knives going through your skull.”

“I’ll scream,” Tara choked out, terrified.

“By the time someone helps you I can get a lot of pain in, so tell me who the key is and I won’t kill you.” Glory reasoned, her hand snaked so tightly around Tara’s wrist she could hear the bones snapping.

“I’ll never tell you,” Tara spat with as much malice as the soft spoken witch could muster.

“Oh I think you’ll change your mind,” Glory replied coolly, a twisted smile on her face before she plunged her long nailed fingers into Tara’s skull.

“Willow,” was the last thing Tara remembered before her voice was lost in the horrifying pain.

It did feel like knives were going through her skull, except there were a billion, they were flaming, and they had spikes on the blades. Eyes shut from the throbbing pain in her head, Tara didn’t notice Willow walking onto the fairground, her eyes scanning for Tara. When Willow saw her she smiled, it vanished once she saw who she was.

“Tara!” Willow screamed. Anxiety and anger made Willow uncontrollable of her magic, without saying one incantation she shot balls of energy at Glory, her eyes black. Looking more annoyed then hurt, Glory pulled her fingers out of Tara’s head, not afraid of the witch.

“Ooh you have some magic tricks, I’m a god! You’re magic barely affects me witch bitch,” Glory told Willow just aggravating her more.

“Get away from her!”

“No,” Glory replied defiantly like a child to their mother.

“Fine,” was all she said. As she grew more power her eyes became orbs blacker then black itself, her red hair turned black like flames enveloping paper turn to ash. Willow put her hand up and threw more balls of energy, except these were much, much bigger.

Glory fell over as Tara whimpered, her eyes big and glassy as if she’d never looked through them. Willow created more and more energy balls making Glory’s exposed flesh with an ugly shade of blue and black.

“You’ve got some good tricks witch, but I’ll kill all of your friends one by one until I find the key. And you know all the fun that’ll happen then,” Glory told Willow without losing her godly composure.

Willow spoke not a word, her fiery glare told so much more. Although Glory was shallow she wasn’t brainless, she left the fair scowling.

“Tara, baby, are you okay?” Willow asked her girlfriend, her eyes turned back to their natural color replacing hate with love and concern.

“The bird fly’s out the window,” Tara cried like a scared child.

“Tara! What did she do to you?” Willow asked, tears stinging her eyes.

“Black! Make the black turn blue,” Tara called out again, shaking and crying.

Willow was terrified, what did she do to Tara? Will she ever be ‘her’ Tara again? Willow pulled Tara up and placed her not broken arm around her neck, Buffy would help her find a way to save Tara.
