Buffy stared out her window. He should come soon.
She thought back on the past few months. It turned out that Willow had given Angel his soul back--and collapsed again right after she finished. She'd woken up a few days later.... Her parents still weren't home yet.
Cordelia had come back home. She was upset about running away, but Xander had comforted her. She'd even been pretty nice for about a week--which was pretty good for Cordelia.
But Cordy'd still surprised them all by helping Willow a lot while she was still weak.
Giles had slowly recovered, and was even more slowly forgiving Angel for what he'd done.
Spike and Drusilla hadn't been seen since--although Buffy knew that one or the other of them would probably come back. When they did, that'd be dust for them.
Oz had stayed pretty much the same, helping Willow when she needed it.
Her mom had actually accepted the Slayer thing--but Buffy hadn't tried explaining the Angel thing yet. Kendra had moved in with them for a while, until one night, she was attacked by a vampire gang. From what Buffy'd been able to find out, they took her from behind.....
Then the new Slayer blew into town. Faith. She was staying with them now. Faith had managed to fit in pretty easily, with everybody. Buffy was slightly uncomfortable around her, but was trying to ignore that.
She looked out the window again, past the trees and the other houses. Then she heard climbing from somewhere below her. Looking down, she saw him.
"Hello, Angel."
"Buffy." He climbed up, and they started kissing again.
