Its was evening and Willow was sitting on her bed thinking about Xander. He had to stay in the hospital. Its was his fourth day there. Willow thought what would happen if Buffy was here maybe Xander wouldn’t gotten hurt. Why Faith let Xander got hurt. If Buffy was in that position she would not Xander hurt himself. She wished Buffy was here. It seemed that everyone forgotten about Buffy since Faith got here. Willow wanted her friend back but how but then she got an idea, a spell.
Darek walking in the hallway going to Lindsays room. He wanted to speak with her in private. Alec and Andrea were back and Darek told Alec what happen with Lindays first assignment but with a few twists. Darek just said that she was destroyed five vamps including Billy and he just help a little. As Darek came to the Lindsays bedroom door, he took a deep breath and started to knock.
Buffy opened the door and seen Darek. He had on a grey t-shirt and a brown cargo pants. "Hi" Buffy said quietly
"Hey I want to speak with you" Darek gave a small smile. She had her blonde hair down and she was wearing a dark blue shirt and black pants.
"Come in" Buffy opened the door. Darek walked in. Looked at Buffy who sat on her bed. "So what do you want?" Buffy blurted out
"To see if you were okay?" Darek said in an unconvincing voice. Buffy looked at him. He was here for something else "No I want to know who you are Lindsay."
"I am who I am." Buffy replied. That was just great he knows something she thought.
"See I don't think so. See I know you’re hiding something and well I want to know." Darek said serisoly.
"See I don't really care if you want to know" Buffy said, not really interested in the whole subject.
"Look alright I see that but come on Lindsay not every girl can stake alot of vampires without having a scratch on her." Darek talked "So if you don't want to answer then answer this, are ya a half demon"
Buffy realized what she did at that bar looked like she was a half demon kind of person "No I am not"
Darek nodded. This was not going anywhere. Shes not going to say anything. "Well I guess this is a waste of time"
"Yeah" Buffy whispered "But I am not a demon my strength is well kind of part of my destiny." She was going on. I should of kept my mouth shut she thought.
"Okay I see what is your destiny" Darek was really interested now. Its was going somewhere, thank you.
"Nothing, just forget it." Buffy said coldly. She stood up and looked at Darek straight in the eye. Then she walked out of the bedroom door.
Willow was at the Crawford Street Mansion. It was the place where she wanted to do the spell. That will give her a hint to get Buffy back. Willow took out the white candles out of her bag and made a circle out of the candles. She sat down in middle of the circle with the spell book in front of her. Then she tooked match out of her pocket and then lit the match the went on to lit the candles one by one.
Willow started to read the book out loud.
Its was hot and crowded as Buffy walked through the small street. Darek was an ass for trying to find out something about her. Yet she didn’t really care. It was not his bussiness for him to try to find out who she was. Tomorrow she would leave town. The package said it was out of town. Alec ask if she wanted anyone to come with her but she said no. Alec knew she could handle herself. She was relived a little that she can go alone, she felt a little better alone.
Alec was little irrtated of Dareks curiousity over Lindsay. What he said about that fight in bar was a lie, Alec knew him to well. Lately Alec seen Darek always being drawn to Lindsay.
Alec was looking at the newspaper at the table. He was that bored.
"Hey" The voice came at the front door. Alec turn to look who it was. It was Andrea.
"Hi" He put the news paper down. "So whats a happening."
"Nothing" She said. Alec suspected that Andrea is holding something back.
"You wanted to talk." Alec asked
"You should let Lindsay go. She doesent know what she going into, Alec." Andrea said seriously
"She can handle herself." Alec replied.
"I am not saying that. She getting into something big and she doesn’t even know it."Andrea talked "Were always fighting against them. They will not rest intill all of us are dead. They already took out the base one, three and five." There were 5 bases in all but now theres was only two. They were base two. Base four was in Sidney, Australia.
Alec didnt say anything. It was true he should of told Lindsay on whats was really going on.
"Shes just a teen." Andrea continued "Looked you should let her do this asignment then let her go."
"I think about it" He stood up and looked at Andrea and walked right passed her and left through the door.
A Big surge of power went through Willow. She spaced out for a second "Buffy" She looked around, nothing happen. The spell didn’t work. There should have been some signs of getting Buffy back but there were none. In that moment of disappointment, she finally excepted that Buffy was gone for good and that she should make the best of it. So she packed her things in her bag and she looked around the abandon mansion, thinking about her friend for the last time. Willow took a deep breath and she slowly walked of the mansion, through the doors.
A few hours later, in the dark empty mansion. A Bright light Filled the empty mansion. As a dark figure felled out of nowhere onto the ground, curled up in a ball like figure.
There were smuges of dirt smeared on his sweaty face. His dark brown hair was messed up and dusty. He had no shirt on his dirty body and his pants were black but all that dirt made it looked like its was brown.
His eyes open slowly at that instant, he jerk up looking very bewildered and not knowing where he was!
Willow came back to the mansion. She had forgotten her bag. As looked she seen the person who was looking around and he looked confused. She frozed. He was supposed to be dead but he is back. She was in big trouble now what was she was going to do.
She walked slowly backwards making sure that he wasn’t going to notice her presence.
"Buffy, Buffy..." He said repeatedly.
Was Angel really back maybe he was the on one to get Buffy back. She had to tell someone but who. Giles was a no because Angel killed Jenny and Xander hated Angel so much that he would kill Angel if he had a chance. Oz and Cordilea possibly no. Faith was the only one she could really tell. As she got to the door, she carefully went outside to go home. Its was too late in the night. She had a test tommorow. She would see Faith tommorow and hope that Angel would stay here and not wander.
Buffy went back to the base. She wanted to go bed. She went in and seen Alec punching the bag.
"Hey" Buffy came up to Alec.
"Hey" He stop punching the bag and looked at Buffy. "You wanted to say something."
Why Buffy said hey. She had nothing to say to him.
"Umm nothing" She said quietly. Just great Buffy thought.
"You wanna spar?" alec asked.
"Sure." She repiled
"In those clothes." Alec pointed.
"I don't really care" Buffy shrugged
So Buffy went into fighting stance and so did Alec.
Alec gave the first right punch to Buffys face but Buffy quickly dodge the punch and then she punch him in the gut before he could move. Buffy did a sidekick which made Alec fell to the floor but alec totally regained himself and he stood and return a sidekick to Buffy. She lost her balance and Alec quickly tripped Buffy. She landed on her butt.
Alec Looked at her and help her up. She was holding back. He sensed it. No wonder why Darek was so drawn to her.
"You're good Lindsay." Alec smiled.
"Thanks. I am going to bed" Buffy said uninterested "Good night" So she walked to the stairs and went upstairs to her bed.
Alec now wanted to talked to Darek. So he would confront him tommorow.
Buffy was tired as she change to her night clothes. then she went to bed. They were catching on to her. She should leave. This was not working. So Buffy went to bed and hope that she would not have to go away again.
