A/N: Since it occurred to me that a long story is good--but also takes a while to go through--I was thinking of doing a spin-off. If you're in favor/Not in favor/Have an opinion: Please drop me a line in the review area???

Willow looked at them all. Apart from missing Giles--and obviously Buffy--this was almost like a Scooby meeting. One of the later ones, but still before they blew up the mayor and the high school.

Except she was now much more powerful, and gay, and Xander only had one eye.... Dawn was loads older... They were all much older. Angel, no, Angelus, was off somewhere. Cordy was dead now--and Oz had come back. No telling if he would stay this time.

"Okay. So, it's a basic spell to repell the spell." Dawn giggled a little at the rhyme.

"Yeah, okay. That makes sense. But how do we do that?" asked Xander.

"I'm not too clear on it... It involves Dawn, and a mirror.... And the reverse. Like, reading from right to left."

"Like in subtraction," Dawn put in.

"Or multiplication," agreed Willow.

"You don't read left to right on those?" asked Xander. They all turned to look at him. "Kidding, I'm kidding!"

Yeah, almost like in high school, Willow thought again.
"Um.... Is it dangerous?" asked Oz. Willow shot an anxious look at him. She'd kind of been avoiding him, he noticed.

"Shouldn't be," she replied. "I mean, I've read about it, and it may take a lot out of the person--but it shouldn't be dangerous."

"So, I need the original spell. Do you have the book?"

"Probably.... Only one question now...." They all looked at the huge bookshelf. "Which book is it?"

**

"Found it," Oz finally said. The rest of them walked over to the chair he'd been sitting in. They'd all gone in seperate areas--and had been going through Willow's books--for hours, it seemed like. Probably only a few hours, but still....

"Okay. So, Dawnie, go and sit in the mirror--and start chanting. Hopefully we can get this thing over with before anything else happens."

"Sit in the mirror? Will, how is that--"

"By the mirror," she corrected herself.

"Okay." Dawn picked up the book, walked over to the huge mirror in the door of Willow's bathroom. She sat down, not looking up, and started to read. Finally, she looked into the mirror--behind her.

"Guys, this is--oh, my God." She stood up, staring at herself--and at Amanda, hanging, just like Chloe had. When the First had killed her. Just like its uber-vamps, the Turok-hans, had killed Amanda. She'd gotten to be a Slayer--but it hadn't lasted.

"Oh, no." Xander looked at the mirror from across the room.

"Xander?" Willow came up beside him. "What's--yiii!" she yelped.

"It happened. Earlier. In Oz's hotel room. Anya was in the bathtub. But just the mirror of the bathtub."

"Willow? Is she supposed to be there?" Dawn turned around, not finding her dead friend.

"Just--just do the spell, Dawnie. Try not to look." Willow turned away, shaken.

Dawn looked back down at the book. She kept going--she messed up, stumbled a little. But she'd done that with the original spell, too. As long as she didn't look back in the mirror....
