Tales of Drusilla
Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not own Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Joss does. I own the fanfic though!
Set: Spike and Dru had just come to Sunnydale.
This is one short story. This whole book has different short stories.
The midnight blue sky was scattered with twinkling stars. No matter how hellmouthy Sunnydale was, it was romantic at night. Dru and Spike lay on a blanket on the grass. Spike put his arm around Drusilla. Drusilla quickly sat up and clutched her head, moaning.
“Dru pet, what’s wrong?” Spike asked hurriedly.
“No, no, no, no, no!” Drusilla moaned.
Spike sat up and put his arms around her. “It’s alright love.”
“No Spike, it’s not alright,” she told him.
“Did you have a vision,” he asked her.
“No, they were talking to me,” Dru whispered as she looked up into to the sky.
“Who, who was talking to you?” Spike questioned her.
“The stars. They were telling me a story. But the story was all wrong,” she declared.
“What story?” Spike asked.
“The stars were telling me a story. The story of a man with a burden and the story of him... and the slayer. They were telling me about Angel,” she said, with her voice getting happier by the end.
“Angel,” Spike growled. “Bastard with a soul.”
“The stars told me that Angel’s with a girl. The slayer,” Drusilla murmured.
Spike sighed with relief, and then stood up.
“Angel. With the slayer. Angel and the slayer. In a relationship?” he said as if he couldn’t get it round his head.
“Yes, yes,” Dru told him. “Angel loves this slayer. His heart yearns for her, he aches for her.”
“The Slayer,” Spike snarled. “That blonde bint I fought in the high school. What did they tell you about Angel and the Slayer?”
“They told me that it’s all about to change. That my Angel’s coming back!” she exclaimed.
“Bollocks,” Spike stated.
He pulled Drusilla to her feet.
“Come on pet, I’m hungry.”
