Tales of Drusilla
Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not own Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Joss does. I own the fanfic though!
Set: After Spike and Dru left Sunnydale at the end of Season 2, but before Lover's Walk in Season 3.
This is one short story. This whole book has different short stories.
Drusilla sat cross-legged on her 4 poster bed with a velvet red duvet. She had a pack of tarot cards infront of her which she started shuffling.
"Dru, pet," Spike said as he came up to her. "Read my fortune."
Drusilla was still cross with him for making them leave Angelus in Sunnydale but she let him sit down on the bed with her.
Spike was familiar with the tarot cards, so he picked up the pack and shuffled them thoroughly. Dru took them off him and picked 3 off the top of the pile. She turned the first one around.
"The traitor, disloyal to his friends. Oh, that portrays you Spike," she read huffily. She them turned over the second card.
"The coward, running away from the battle when you are needed," she told him. She finally turned over the third and last card.
"The cheater, who loves more than one at once."
"Dru, love," he whispered. "Are you mad at me?"
"You Spike, you. You allied yourself with the Slayer, shame on you," she tutted waving her finger at him.
Spike lowered his head and gave Dru his puppy-dog eyes.
“You reek of the slayer. She’s all around you, laughing and mocking,” Dru told him angrily. “She thinks she’s won you over and she has.”
“But Dru, I’ve changed,” Spike pleaded.
Drusilla got off the bed and walked towards the door. As she opened it, she turned around to Spike.
“No my Spike, you haven’t.”
