Buffy was in the main room downstairs in the building she sitting on the blue matt, She had her eyes close and she was at peace. Darek was standing up watching her and was waking slowly around her.
"Forget everything that gives you guilt it doesn’t mean anything.... Its too late now" Darek spoke softly "Don't feel happy on what you did, what your going to do. Don't be weak, don't cry or feel guilt don't even get mad its not worth it." he got louder. "Think back on every memory you ever had."
She thought of when she first met Xander and Willow at school and the first time she talked with Angel in the dark alley and she almost started to cry. When Darek bend down and he whispered in her ear "Don't react to those memories try to make it mean nothing."
So she tried again, she thought back and concentrated not to put any emotions into those memories.
Darek can see that the method was working, the training was going smoothly and a faster rate then he expected. It wasn’t a bad thing, it was good. He looked at the time it 10:11 pm. The night was early he thought.
"Your doing good" Darek stood up "But that’s enough I am going to phone Alec" He went upstairs
Buffy just nodded and she stood waited. Alec and Andrea went to Caracas, Venezuela to do get this rich mafia guy. Alec didn’t give to much information about what he was going to do but she exactly know what Alec was going to do anyways he probably knew that she knew. Just Eric and Darek were here but Eric was gone to get a package. Darek came back downstairs and said “Alec wants you to do more training till 11:45 am and I guess its time for you to take on your first assignment after that"
"What’s it about" Buffy asked. Right now, was it wasn’t too early for this she thought. She expected it was going to be a month for her first assignment but now. It was too soon.
"I don't know yet but Alec said when Eric get a package for a assignment that you should first to take it" He said seriously
She didn’t how to react but she just went and sat down on the matt and continued her training.
Alec just shrugged and went on and her with her training
Faith and the others were running in a alley and suddenly stop when they reach to an building and there’s a garage door that was opening slowly.
"They led us here" Willow spoke. They all stop'd for a second.
Faiths punch the vampire on the cheek before he can attack willow. Then the vampire was about to punch her on the shoulder but she block the punch and quickly stake the vampire.
There were three vampires were coming toward Faith but she was ready to take them on. When Oz and Xander push down one of the vampires and stake it.
Faith took on the vampire and can kept on punching him before he can punch him back. Then Faith stake then she moved on to another vampire to stake.
Two medium size vampires were ganging up on Willow but Xander came and attacked one of the vampires leaving one them for Willow.
Willow was backing away slowly and she had the stake in her hand she was ready to use it when she seen a big tall figure. He had a vampire face on and had a long cut on his right eye and his hands were cloven
"Leave the slayer, she’s mine" Kakistos smiled "The rest is yours"
Faith stake the vampire quickly then she headed for Kakistos.
Trick was watch from he opposite side of the room with a girl vampire. Thinking if he should leave Kakistos behind. If it wasn’t for him, Kakistos wouldnt be this far but Kakistos wanted to just kill the slayer. He didn’t see the big picture. Trick made his decision.
"If we don't do something, the Master could get killed." Trick spoke "Well good luck"
Trick left through a door with the vampire leaving a few vampires and Kakistos behind fighting with the slayer and her friends.
"Help" Willow screamed. She tried to fight the vampire but the vampire was too strong. Now the vampire was holding her and was ready to bite her neck.
Oz seen Willow and trouble, he pushed the vampire away and ranned to Willow as he got there he grab the vampires arm and pulled which made the vampire let go of Willow. Oz then grab the vampires shoulder and stake the vampire. Both Oz and Willow looked relief then went to help Xander.
Faith took a punch but kakistos just grab her arm and punch her in the gut then he let her fell down on her hands and knees.
She looked at Kakistos and then she slowly got up and tooked out her stake.
"You think you can take me" He laughed
"You under estimate me" Faith tooked a punch on his chest but he didn’t budge.
Kakistos tooked a big swing to Faiths head, she ducked fast. Faith uppercut him in the gut. Kakistos bend down at the moment and Faith took the stake and staked him.
Kaksitos looked up and smiled "You need a bigger stake" Faith looked kind of worried. What was she gonna do now.
Just as they staked the last vampire. Xander, Willow and Oz seen Faith put a stake in kakistos heart but it didnt work.
Faith tooked another punch and a kick to kakistos and she was wearing down kakistos. Xander seen a medium size wooden pole that had a pointy tip and Xander signaled Oz for him to had see the wood pole.
Kakistos throwed Faith into the wall and Xander came in and tried to fight kakistos. Xander gave a hit to Kakistos but Kakistos block the hit then kakistos grab him and threw Xander down. Kakistos pick Xander up and kicked Xander on his right knee. Xander fell down on his left knee he was in agony.
Faith got up and seen Kakistos was too busy beating up on Xander to notice her. As Faith looked at Oz and Willow, Oz slightly pointed out the wooden pole. Faith seen it and smiled and she went for it.
Oz went and help Xander by trying to help Xander getting out of the way but Kakistos pushed Oz away and then he turned to Xander and Kakistos lifted Xanders body by Xanders head and was ready to break Xanders neck.
Just time Faith stab Kakistos from behind in that second he was turned to dust and Xander fell on the ground moaning.
Faith drop the pole to the ground and looked down at Xander. Willow and oz came to Xander.
"Someone should get help" Willow said worriedly, she was kneeling down to Xander. Faith and Oz were standing up.
"I'll go" Oz offered and then he went as fast as he can through the garage opening to go get help.
Faith looked at Xander, it was stupid for him to face Kakistos but if he didn’t then Kakistos would've won. Faith wondered what was going to happen now Kakistos is gone.
The ambulance came and Oz and willow accompanied Xander to the hospital. Faith wanted go back to her danky hotel room instead.
Eric came through the front entrance, he was carrying the package, Buffys first assignment. Eric throwed the package on the table and went to the computers.
"So Your back" Darek was the first one to talk as he made his way to the table and picked up the package "Buffy here you go" He hold up the package. Buffy went and grab the package away from Darek. "It has the pictures of your victims and the location "As soon as he finished he turned to Eric Is it local or not"
"Its local" Eric answered back
"I better go get ready" Buffy said and then she went upstairs to change.
She wanted her first assignment to be done. She wanted to open the envelope at the last moment. To Darek and the rest, Buffy didnt seem scared of what kind of assignment she was going to kill, was it a creature of the night, vampires or a ruthless kind of demon or a innocent being.
She put on a red tank top and black leather pants. Buffy was tired she wondered when she could go to bed.
Darek was waiting for Lindsay to be done getting ready. He wanted to accompained her. Just in case she needed help. She was young. He wondered why she was here, what made her say yes to Alec.
He knew something was up but it wasnt his business to look in her past. When he seen her killed that guy that night. she tooked him down like nothing. it was fast and simple. A girl that size would got killed but she didnt. Power like that didnt come to any person. she was different but how and why.
Darek seen Buffy coming downstairs with the envelope in her hand "Did you open it?' Darek asked
"No" Buffy was standing in front of the stairs but was looking at Darek then she looked at the envelope "I am about to" Buffy opened it. She took out a picture of a her victim, it was a vampire. He had his game face on and his black was combed to the back. His his ear was pierced on one the left ear and he had on a brown suit. She read that his name was Billy and he a leader of a small society of vampires. She read some more and seen that a lot of Demons wanted him dead but it didn’t say why.
She went to the table and she was still reading it as soon as she was done she place it on the table. "I need a weapon" She looked to Darek who was sitting on the sofa.
"Go ahead" Darek said tiredly
Buffy opened the case of weapons and grab out a sliver battle axe and a stake. She put her stake inside her jacket and was holding the axe in her hand. Alec turned to Buffy and notice that she was ready "I will drive"
Alec got up and yawned and went through the front door with Buffy.
Buffy and Alec got out of the black mercedes that was parked in front of a small danky bar. Buffy went in to the bar followed by Darek. Right at the moment as she step in. Everybody at the bar was looking at her but they didnt know that she was carryng a axe that she was holding right behind her back. Buffy seen three cages of people in it. Looking at her very scared.
Instead of being nervous Buffy spoke "Where’s Billy"
"You mean the owna" A tough old guy growled then he tooked a drink of his whiskey
"Yeah" Darek said while he came right beside Buffy.
'Right here" Billy walked out of the other room going towards Buffy and Alec. Billy didnt change much from the picture. He was wearing a bright purple suit and he had a dimond on his right ear.
"Thank you" Buffy quickly came to him and she swung the axe to cut through his neck which instantly Billy turned to dust. That was easy she thought.
All the vampires in the bar turned to her and they really looked pissed off. Buffy tooked her stake and staked her the guy who was close. Then a vampire girl was coming right in front of her but Buffy kick her on the side then quickly staked her.
Darek looked at Lindsay in amazement as she was destroying the vampires one by one. Nothing could get in her way. To him, her fighting moves were impressive.
Buffy gave a right hook to a bikers left cheek then she stake him. Buffy turn after she was done with that last vampire and seen Darek was just standing there with a blank face.
"Why didnt you help me?" Buffy asked
"I can see you can handle yourself." Darek crossed his arms. "How about those people in the cages? Its your call"
Buffy wondered what to do. She know that Billy was the leader and his followers might wants to know who dusted Billy. "Burn the Building....leave them"
Darek looked at the cages seen and how the people that were trap in the cages, were scared of what was going to happen. Then Darek went to the counter and spilled the beer all over the place and he pulled out the match and lit it then Darek threw the match on the floor causing a out burst of fire.
Buffy just looked at the fire and turned to the door and left outside to the car. She was tired and couldn’t wait to go to bed. Darek looked one more time then went to the car and more he thought about Lindsay the more he was getting more curious.
