“Human?” Glory repeated tightening her grip on Dawn’s neck as she struggled to get free.
Everyone stood up to face Glory.
“Let her go!” Paige said trying to sound threatening, taking a step in Glory’s direction.
“Uh, uh careful there. I don’t think the slayer would appreciate you causing the death of her lil sis.” Glory said tightening her grip again. Her nails dug into Dawn’s neck, causing Dawn to cry out in pain.
Paige took a step back, Glory loosened her grip.
“What do you want?” Xander spoke up, focusing his anger toward Glory.
“Not very bright are you?” Glory said looking at Xander. “*My* key! *You* know! Where is it?”
Paige looked at Xander. He stood there no moving, not saying anything.
Glory let go of Dawn’s neck and grabbed her arm. Dawn tried to pull her arm away but Glory held it tightly. Glory turned back to Xander, Dawn was shaking with fear.
“I could kill off your friends one…” Glory grabbed Dawn’s index finger and bent it backwards. Dawn yelled in pain. Paige heard a snap, her finger was surely broken. “…by one.” Glory picked up a second finger and snapped it again, Dawn cried out again.
Paige was shaking with anger and frustration.
“I could kill each and every one of them…” Glory said clamping her hand around Dawn’s fist. Several bones in Dawn’s hand snapped and crunched as Glory tightened her grip. When Glory finally realized Dawn she fell to her knees grasping her mangled hand.
Paige put herself between Dawn and Glory. She wanted nothing better than to pummel Glory. But she knew better. She knew Glory would easily win, Glory knew it too.
“You’re powerful, but there are some 4 year-olds just starting karate that fight better than you.” Glory chuckled then she turned and walked out.
Every muscle in Paige’s body was cringing with anger.
“We need to get her to the hospital!” Willow said on the floor next to Dawn trying to comfort her. There was blood all over Dawn’s hand and bones were jutting out of her skin. Dawn was rocking back and forth gripping her wrist staring at her bloody hand.
Paige was still staring at the door, not believing what she let happen.
