“Come on don’t be such a baby,” Buffy said as she tried to pull Angel toward the stage. It was karaoke night at the bronze and she and Angel had decided to do karaoke, but now her boyfriend was chickening out.
“I can’t sing” Angel said trying to pull away
“You promised” Buffy said, pouting in a way she knew would win him over.
Seeing her puppy face, he reluctantly walked with her to the stage.
“What should we sing?” she asked, smiling.
“What do you like?” he asked as Buffy flipped through the book with songs in it.
“How about a…duet!” Buffy asked her creature of the night boyfriend.
“No” he said, “Something that we sing together”
“Alright” she said as she flipped through the songs.
Meanwhile at Giles house…
Giles looked through the box he had found in the closet. It was of stuff he had decorated his house with in England. He figured his new apartment needed some more English décor. As he was hanging up some new tapestry’s Cordelia walked in. “Ah, Cordelia just the person I wanted to see”
She nodded, “I was wondering if you’ve seen Xander”
Giles shook his head, “No, but I do wanted to see you what do you think of my tapestry?”
Cordelia looked horrified, “Ahhh”
“You don’t like it?” Giles asked frowning.
“The color” she said and grimaced.
“Yeah, what’s wrong with it? I like it”
“Its *pink*?!?!" She told him.
“Yes…well I think the apartment needs more color”
“Giles!” Cordelia said looking more horrified.
“What?”
She pointed to a box with even more terrifying things for Giles’s home. “We’re going shopping”
“What’d you mean?” he said looking confused.
“You cannot decorate you house like that! Come on there’s a new store I think you’ll like” she grabbed his hand and dragged him out the door.
Meanwhile at one of Sunnydale’s cemeteries…
“I am glad we can help Buffy, you know?” Willow asked her boyfriend Oz.
“Yes, very helpful” Oz said as he played with the stake he held.
“I mean she deserves to be out with Angel right?” Willow said as she looked around to see if any vamps dared to come out.
“Yes she does” Oz answered.
“Good” she smiled, also glad that she could spend some time with her boyfriend, tomorrow was the start of his wolf stage and he would obviously be unavailable.
Her smile dissipated when she saw a vampire coming toward them. “Uh oh, vamp”
Oz immediately got his stake ready, as he came near the vamp. It was a girl with blonde hair he looked really familiar. The newbie vampire ran toward Oz and kicked him, sending him flying. “Oz!”
Willow ran toward her boyfriend but screamed when something flung her backward. “Hey, don’t I know you?” the vampire said.
Then Willow knew who she was. Casey Darren. She used to be very popular and was friends with Cordelia. Willow hated her because she had picked on her in 5th grade.
“Willow Rosenberg, I should’ve known”
The popular girl turned vampire hit her in the face causing her nose to break. When Willow screamed and tried to get away Casey grabbed her arm and twisted it broke. Willow tried to grab her arm with her other hand but the vampire didn’t stop there. Casey Darren kicked willow in the knee causing it to break. Willow fell to the floor and grabbed at her knee. “Oz” she gasped.
The vampire laughed as she came toward her, again. The now ugly vamp scratched her in the face causing blood to run down her face. Before the vampire could hurt her anymore, it turned to dust.
She looked up to see Oz falling to his knees beside her. “But.... I liked the singing palm tree." She said before she passed out.
Meanwhile at the bronze…
Buffy and Angel finished their song; they sang, “Crush” by Mandy Moore. Buffy was laughing hysterically after they were done. Even though Angel couldn’t sing the song they sung told everyone in the bar they were in love. They got off the stage and smiled at each other. “I love you” Buffy said and Angel nodded and they kissed.
Meanwhile at a store in SUNNYDALE…
“Cordelia, your taste is magnificent” Giles said smiling as he walked out of a store called “The New English Shop”
“Thank you, glad to help…but ummmm what are you wearing?” Giles laughed as he walked to the car figuring he didn’t mind going shopping for his wardrobe either.
Back to the cemetery…
“Willow! Willow!” Oz shook his girlfriend.
Willow’s eyes snapped open. “Oz…what happened?”
“You passed out from your injuries…but your healing” Oz said looking at her nose and shifting his gaze to her arm that no longer looked as if it had been twisted 500 times.
“How!” she said trying to get up, but Oz pushed her back down. “I think I am…I think the wolf has some healing powers”
She smiled and kissed him, not asking questions. “Thank you”
