Angel slowly made his way down the passage he found, beginning to wonder if it would lead to the person or thing he had been looking for. "Wow," he thought. "I must be miles under the school," he said, after viewing his surroundings. He stopped at a big wooden door. He kicked it open and stepped inside. It appeared to be some kind of chamber. As he examined it, he was hit over the head. He stood up and looked for his attacker, but before he saw anything, he was being chained up by a demon. The demon finished chaining him then went to a book that lay open on a table. Angel tried to break the chains, but they were really tough. He was shoved into a cage by a couple of vampires, then the door was locked. "Who are you?" he asked the demon. The demon looked at him and replied in an eerie voice, "I am your captor. That is all that you need to know." "What is this place?" Angel demanded of the demon. "Ah, this is a hidden chamber, hidden under this land for centuries. It was a torture chamber long ago. My master requires it for his plan to work." "What's the big plan?" Angel asked. "To kidnap me? Cause that's not really very smart." "My master's plan is ingenious!" the demon raged. "He took out the Slayer and will now elimnate the vampire with a soul." "So, who's the big master?" Angel asked. "That you do not need to know," the demon said. "But be patient. All will be revealed when the time is right." Angel sighed and hoped the rest of the gang was doing better than he was. Meanwhile, Cordelia was heading back to the high school when a vampire jumped out at her. She screamed, but the vampire covered her mouth up, knocked her out, and dragged her away. At the high school, Willow was being dragged away from the library into a cave. Luckily, Xander had spotted them and followed them in secret, but Willow had not noticed, so she was naturally pretty terrified right now. "Help!" she screamed. Xander snuck into the cave, pulled out a stake, and prepared to attack her attacker. Meanwhile, Werewolf Oz had found a victim and chased her throughout the streets. As the demon was bent over his book, which Angel had guessed was a spellbook by now, he noticed a vampire dragging a civilian into the cave. It was Cordelia! The demon ordered the vampire to tie her up. After Cordelia was tied to a chair, she woke up and began to scream. In the cave, the attacker was in the shadows preparing for some kind of ritual when Xander revealed himself, armed with his stake. "Xander!" Willow exclaimed with relief. He had come to her rescue. She felt much better now until the shadowy figure revealed himself. It was Ethan Rayne!
