As Buffy awoke in Spike’s arms she breathed in his heavy scent of leather and tobacco. She loved the way he looked when he woke in the morning, the way his usually slicked back hair was not in affect right now, there were a few curls that we out and sprung to his forehead and this in Buffy’s opinion made him look rather sexy. As she felt the warmness of his embrace she thought of what she had to do today. They were going today to go see Angel in LA. They had tried to call but no one picked up at Angel Investigations number and they had called information but there was no record of a new location of him in the city.
As she felt Spike begin to stir she looked him in the eyes. His eyes opened and her chuckled.
“How long have you been awake pet?” he said.
“No long baby, we should really get up and get our things. You Willow and I are leaving in 45 minutes.” She said.
“Ok love, you need to shower?” he asked.
“No, I did last night just need to straiten my hair,” she answered.
“Same here pet.” He said.
So they got up and got dressed, Buffy in a low-waist blue jeans with a red tank top. And Spike in his usual black all over with his leather duster. Buffy wondered if he ever washed that jacket.
They went downstairs and saw Willow at the table eating a bowl of ceral and Dawn sitting next to her.
“Buffy can I pleeeeaaase go?” Dawn whined.
“No Dawn, I told you this a thousand times this is not a vacation to LA this is a mission. You are going to stay here with Kennedy and Xander. Understand?” Buffy answered.
“Fine.” Dawn Grumbled.
“So Will, you got everything you need for the resouling curse.” Buffy asked.
“Yah Buff, I got it and I packed weapons for you and Spike too. “she said.
“Thanks Will.”
“Ok now Spike, Willow, now that we are ready we have to go. Willow do you have the spell to teleport us to LA?” Buffy asked.
“Yeah Buff. I recon we should go now.” Said willow.
“Ok, Will.”
They all said their goodbyes to Dawn and Kennedy and they stood in a small circle. Willow said the incantation and a blast of wind started to come throughout the house. Then Willow, Spike and Buffy disappeared in a flash of blue light.
Wolfram and Heart 6 Hours ago
Wesley awoke and saw Angel, Gunn, and Harmony staring at him. He explained to them how Lindsey had knocked him out and how he had gone into Angel’s office. He suggested to Angel that Wolfram and Heart double their security till they know what Lindsey is up to. They all agreed and they all left to get the security system updated.
LA Angel Investigations
When Buffy opened her eyes again, Her, Spike and Willow were standing in the remains of what looked like Angel investigations.
“Well, I guess this is why I couldn’t reach them here.” Buffy said.
Lindsey’s Apartment
As Lindsey was putting all the ingredients in the cauldron, he thought of how he needed just one more thing…Fred. He had a plan that after he was done putting these in he was going to sneak into Wolfram and Heart and take Fred from her science lab. He would then bring her back here and use all the blood he needed from her to make this work. He didn’t care if it killed her, he was just going to slit her wrist and spill all the blood he needed into the cauldron until Angels soul appeared in to bottle next to it.
He had just finished all of the rest of the spell and he got his coat and walked out. He snuck into Wolfram and Heart thought the entrance of the sewer while he had Eve kill the security system. He snuck around dodging the people who knew Angel till he came to the Science lab.
Since it was after hours he was certain that only Fred was going to be here. He snuck into the lab by using the security code Eve gave him and he saw Fred leaning over a microscope. She was alone and he did a surprise attack on her. She tried to scream, but he drugged her to knock her out. He then escaped Wolfram and Heart quickly and went back to his apartment with a knocked out Fred over his shoulder.
Angel Investigations
“So, what should we do now?” Willow asked.
“I suggest that we ask around on the street to the local demon haunts to find out where Angel is.” Said Spike.
“I agree” said Buffy.
“Willow, why don’t you stay here and try a locater spell to where Angel is, and Spike and I will check out some of the local demon haunts, sound good to you” She asked both Spike and Willow.
“Yah” they replied.
And Spike and Buffy left Willow to do a locater spell while they went off to try to find someone who could help them find where Angel is.
