A/N yeah i kinda wrote this on the bus so if it sucks i'm sorry
Buffy woke a few moments before her alarm clock was set to go off. She rolled over on her side and kept her eyes closed, thinking about what she had to do today
**Talk to Giles. Figure out what the hell was following me. Try not to fail.**
When she heard music, she knew it was time to get up. She turned her alarm off and got out of bed. Walking slowly to the bathroom, she turned on the shower, setting the temperature to as hot as she could stand. She undressed and got into the shower.
She washed quickly and got out, wrapping a towel around her petite body as she stood in front of the mirror. She brushed her teeth and then walked back to her bedroom.
**Do I even have any clothes left in my closet** she wondered idly while she walked back. She looked up and froze in the doorway. Something caught her eye on her bed, more specifically someone. Someone who was sleeping and was very close to the sunlight streaming in from the open blinds.
"Oh my god, Angel..." she whispered as she all but sprinted to the windows. Carefully, as to not wake Angel, she closed the blinds and pulled the sheer curtains closed, trying to subdue the light.
**Ok, that was too close** she thought as she crossed to the closed, silently praying that Angel would not wake while she was dressing.
Fifteen minutes later, after rummaging through everything she had, she finally decided on a ocean blue tank top and white capris. She went to leave but stopped.
**Maybe I should wake him up**she thought. **Yeah, why not?** she decided as she crossed back to her bed and tried to wake Angel.
"Angel?" she said quietly. No answer. She gently shook his sholder as she called him again "Angel?"
His eyes snapped open and he looked around wildly, clearly disoriented.
"What..."
"You fell asleep with me last night." Buffy quickly supplied. This seemed to calm him and she continued on.
"I have to go to school. My mom won't be home until next week so you don't have to worry about her coming home while I'm gone." she finished and looked at him to see he understood what was going on.
He nodded his head. **What am I going to do all day?** he thought to himself.
As if she could read his mind she answered "I'll try to cover as many of the windows as I can on my way out so you don't have to be stuck in here all day"
"Thanks" he replied gratefully as he looked at her. **My god she's beautiful** he thought. Suddenly she looked very nervous.
"I...uh...I have to go. To school, you know." she managed to stammer as she got up and started towards the door.
**Why am I so nervous?** she asked herself **It's not like it's the first time he's spent the night**
**She's so cute when she's nervous** he thought, somewhat amused.
Angel grabbed her arm gently and pulled her forward. He captured her lips with his and kissed her gently.
He pulled away , and looked her in the eyes "You should get going. I'll see you later, ok?"
She quickly crossed to the door and said "OK". When she got to the door she paused and said quietly "I'll try to call later to see if there is anything you need." She walked out before he could answer, and headed for the stairs.
**Lets see, Try not to fail, Talk to Giles, Figure out what was following me. Yep, just another normal day in the life of the slayer** she thought as she decended the stairs.
