A/N hi guys...this is my first fic and i kind of wrote it while i was in school today so review it please and tell me what you think

**It's getting late** she thought to herself as she ducked from the blow aimed at her head
"Alright, lets get this over with. I'm getting tired" the little blonde said as the vampire rushed her. She waited, then side-stepped him at the last minute. She grabbed his arm and twisted, using his own momentum to flip him onto the ground. She didn't even hesitate as she grabbed her stake and plunged it into the creature's heart.
**Geeze, i'm too tired to even pun** she thought as the vampire burst into ash.
**Or maybe not...**
"Happy New Year" she muttered as she dusted the vampire's remains from her clothes. She sighed deeply as she picked up her stake and started home.
She was barely a block away from the cemetary when she got the feeling that she was being followed. As soon as the feeling came, however, it was gone. She shook her head and continued on, thinking she'd just imagined it.
**I'm just tired...*** she told herself, hafte all- it had been a rather busy night.
She was just past The Bronze when the feeling returned, only this time it didn't go away. She scanned her surroundings and sow that she was the only one around. Still, the feeling wouldn't disappear. She was being followed- and it scared the hell out of her.
**MOVE** she screamed internally, and she began to run. Now, however, whatever it was following her started to give chase. The slayer was hit with an emotion she'd never felt before- fear, sheer terror- and she hated it.
She kept running, and stole a glance behind her. Which is when she ran into something big and hard.
