Buffy smiled at her slayee. 'Y'know what? I don't buy. I don't think there's a secret hideouty thingy. It's a trap to catch me off guard. And you were
nominated as bait'. She punched him. 'Right so far?'
'No, I swear-ow!', protested the vampire, as Buffy hit him again.'Follow me,and I'll-OW! Okay, okay, there is no secret hideout, just don't hit meanymore, PLEASE!'.
'Aw, you break too easily. I was just getting started', said buffy disappointedly. She grabbed bim by the collar. 'I don't like these kind of
surprises. When I'm involved, surprises are always of the bad. Now..' she raised her stake. 'May I?'.
'No, no!' pleaded the vampire. 'I can give you more information. There's more!'.
'More lies?' asked Buffy disbelievingly.
'No, I wasn't lying when I said that there is an ultimate evil. Although I was when I said I served him. He's really* picky about who hangs around in his inner circle'.
She threw him against a tree. 'Explainy'.
'Well, I don't have the inside scoop, but he aims end the end of all ends, or something like that...'
'Don't you all?' shrugged Buffy. She wasn't learning anything new here. He was wasting her time.
He eyed the stake, and blurted, He calls himself "Maphius"
The vampire had told her as much as he could. Stake time. But something told Buffy maybe she should let this one go...
