Everything in the first chapter. I don’t own Grease or BTVS….blah-dee blah.

Author’s Note: I know that it has been forever. I’ve gotten constant reminders, and I promise I haven’t abandoned my stories or my readers. The truth of the matter is that college can be a bitch, especially at the end of a semester. I am finally home today, to visit my sister and parents for the holidays and am sitting here in good old Virginia all the way from California. Everyone in my house is asleep, and thankfully my body is still on California time so I am here to be at you beck and call and write Grease like it was demanded. Demand and supply. Plus, my boyfriend is still in California, so he can’t distract me and I get to write :). Except, I would really love him to be able to be here for Christmas. Okay enough of my life…onto the story!

Chapter 25

“Wait. Let me get this straight. You want a totally different look?” Willow asked, her mouth hung open, shocked at Buffy’s explanation of what she wanted done.

“You don’t like it?” Buffy asked worriedly, biting her bottom lip.

The girls were sitting on Willow’s bed in her room. Buffy had just finished explaining exactly what she wanted to happen, and why she wanted it.

“No, I do,” Willow assured her. “It’s just-. It doesn’t seem like you.”

“I know it doesn’t. But I think I want it to be,” Buffy told Willow.

“Are you sure this is what you want? You should never change who you are for a guy,” Willow asked Buffy.

“I know. But Spike isn’t just any guy. I know he loves me Will, and I can’t just let him slip through my fingers. This isn’t just for him, it’s for me too. Yes, I’m sure,” Buffy convinced Willow.

“Well then, I think it’s time to call the girls. This is a job for all of us,” Willow informed Buffy, grabbing her pink cordless phone off of the nightstand, and dialing Cordelia’s cell phone.

---

“So Spike, how’s it feel?” Tara asked him, as the gang was sitting around a table at the Bronze, without Willow and Buffy.

“It feels good to take that Parker bloke down a notch or two I guess,” Spike mumbled.

“What are you so bummed about? We bought you a blooming onion, spicy buffalo wings, and a pitcher of coke! What more do you want?” Gunn asked him.

Angel shot Gunn a look that clearly said, ‘You just pushed it to far.’

“You wouldn’t understand. But I think I might be able to get you to. Come on guys, we’re going to my place. See you later girls,” Spike said, getting up off the table and nodding his head as a goodbye toward the girls.

Xander and Oz looked at each other confused, then turned to look at Angel and Gunn.

Angel just shrugged and got up following Spike to Grease Lightnin’.

“Later babes,” Xander saluted the girls, then got up and followed Angel and Spike.

The rest of the guys said their goodbyes and also exited the Bronze.

“What the hell was that all about?” Anya asked, snapping her gum lightly.

“I don’t know, may-,” Cordelia began, before she was cut off by the ringing of her cell phone. “Ugh, hold on.” She dug through her purse until she pulled out the small pink video flippy phone from the bottom.

“Queen C, what will it be?” Cordelia answered.

“Oh, um, that’s new,” Willow commented into the phone.

“Yeah, it just came to my head. I was trying something different,” Cordelia responded.

“Gotcha.”

“So what do you want Willow? You left in a major hurry without anybody seeing you leave.”

“I know. Buffy needs our help! Get to my house immediately.”

“What’s wrong Willow?” Cordelia asked.

Willow did a double take. ‘Did Cordelia just sound genuinely concerned?’ Shaking her head she answered, “Makeover.”

“Enough said. The girls and I are on our way.” Cordelia quickly hung up the phone. “Girls, Buffy needs our help. Makeover.”

“Say no more,” Tara responded, heading to the exit with Cordy and Anya.

---

“Dude, what the hell are you trying to prove?” Gunn asked, when he heard Spike’s story of how he wasn’t good enough for Buffy now, and how he wanted to change his look to be a better man for her.

“That I love her,” Spike answered abruptly, without any hesitation.

“Spike-y’s in loooooooove,” Xander sing-songed.

“That’s right whelp,” Spike agreed.

“Woah, he didn’t even get mad it me for singing it, or calling him Spikey. The guy has got it bad,” Xander realized.

“That I do mate,” Spike agreed again, shaking his head at the irony of it all. “So,” he jumped up, clapping his hands together, “Are you boys going to help me or what?”

“Uh, makeovers aren’t exactly my thing,” Oz spoke up.

“It’s not a bloody makeover you ponce, it’s a new look,” Spike glared at him.

“I agree with Oz man. I like you the way you are, I mean if you change, you won’t be a Thunderbird anymore,” Angel told him.

“Yeah, but I’ll be Buffy’s guy instead,” Spike grinned widely.

Xander sighed, realizing Spike was too stubborn when he set his mind to something, to talk him out of it. “So how drastic is this look going to be?” He asked.

“Yeah bro, are we talking total difference? Oh I know, how about curly brown hair with glasses, and a nose buried in a poetry book!” Gunn joked causing laughter to erupt from everyone but Spike.

‘If only he knew how dead on he’d be if this was the third grade,’ Spike thought.

“Forget it you pansy, I’ll do it myself,” Spike grumbled.

“Spike man, I was joking,” Gunn stopped laughing, looking at a pissed off Spike.

“Just go,” Spike told the guys.

None of them knew what exactly was said that was so wrong, but they all left anyway, mumbling goodbyes.

---

Cordelia, Tara, and Anya set on the bed with Willow and Buffy, all of their jaws dropping to the floor.

Tara was the first to speak up. “Buffy, you really want this?”

“If I had a dollar each time you guys are going to ask me this, I’d be rich. Yes I want this. Yes I’m positive. Yes let’s do it!” Buffy said exasperatedly.

Cordelia didn’t hesitate to object. “I call the clothing and shoes.”

“Hair,” Willow claimed her job.

“Make up,” Anya chose.

“I guess that leaves me with shoes and accessories,” Tara rationalized.

“Well then, let’s get to it!” Buffy jumped off the bed.

“To my car?” Cordelia asked.

“To your car,” Buffy agreed.

---

“That will be $150.00,” The big man named Sparky at the cash register informed Buffy.

“Pain costs that much?” Buffy muttered, grabbing her credit card her absentee father feeds her money on each month for “emergencies”.

“Well it looks sexy at least,” Cordelia was grinning widely. “Or at least I think it did when I caught a glimpse of it. Can’t really tell with the whole, white bandage and gauze over it.”

“Who knew a tattoo would be so painful?” Buffy asked, itching to rub the middle of her lower back where her new tattoo of a blood red heart with a spike through it was now located.

“Um, I did,” Willow raised her hand.

Buffy raised a questioning eyebrow toward her as Sparky was swiping her credit card through the register.

“No, I don’t have any. The whole needle thing gives it away,” Willow answered.

“Oh,” Buffy’s face dropped. “Right.”

---

“What about this?” Tara held up an outfit.

“Nope, too simple,” Cordelia barely glanced at it, while searching through the racks of clothing.

“What about this?” Willow held up another outfit.

“Nope, too homey,” Cordelia tossed it aside.

“What about this?” Anya help up a third outfit.

“Nope, too dull,” Cordelia sighed, realizing her idea of Buffy’s dream outfit she had a of vision in her head was hopeless. Cordelia knew what Spike liked; he was a fling of hers after all.

“What about this?” Buffy help up a forth outfit.

Cordelia actually took the time to turn around and look at the outfit that Buffy was holding up. She rolled her eyes, “Joining a convent?”

Buffy blushed and put the wholesome outfit back on the rack.

Cordelia frowned, knowing it was hopeless. Well, at least she thought it was until something caught the corner of her eye. Turning around to the rack behind her, Cordelia gasped.

She picked up the outfit and checked the size. It matched Buffy’s! She looked over the material, over all the fabric, over the shape, everything. There was only one word in her head that could describe it.

Perfect.

TBC!!!

A/N: I hope you all like it! I finished writing the whole change, but I realized that it was rather long, and instead of giving you one big update, I’ll give you an update today and tomorrow! Sound good? Well, review if you want the update tomorrow. Oh, and review if you like the story, or even if you don’t!

Don’t worry, I also know that the guy’s had no idea at the graduation carnival what Spike’s look was going to be. They don’t now do they? So they won’t then either! They just know now he’s going to have one, but for some reason while watching the movie, I felt that they knew that Danny was going to. Hope you enjoyed the update!
