There are worst things to loose, aren’t there?” Lindsey said and Angel pushed him out of the way and walked out of the building not realizing that should be taken as a warning and not some weird ramblings of a lawyer who lost his hand. He walked out into the night and started walking towards where he thought Dru and Darla might be.

“That was interesting, don’t you think?” Holland said examining his hand. “Do you think I should take what he said about my hand, as a threat?”
Lindsey stared out the door that Angel had just exited, “Mine was” He told Manners.
“Do you mean it?” A voice asked and suddenly the lights in the room flickered.
Holland looked less surprised then Lindsey did, but he seemed to know who it was. “I didn’t expect you at this time” Manners said to air.
“I have no interest in you” the voice told Manners with annoyance.
“Yes, yes of course” Manners said with a quivering voice.
“Now, what’s this threat?”
“Lindsey, I believe he’s talking to you” Holland Manners told Lindsey with urgency.
“Silence” the voice boomed
“What do you mean threat?” Lindsey asked, curious at whom this voice was.
“Senior Partner” Holland said and Lindsey realized that he had said that aloud.
“Yes, I am a senior partner, now what about this threat I believe you said ‘There are worst things to loose, aren’t there?’, should we let Angel experience this?” the voice told Lindsey with delight sounding in the voice that was air.
Lindsey felt the dark power rising in the air and he liked it. “What do we do?”
“I think what we have to do will be easier, especially since we don’t have to have him achieve true happiness” the dark voice crackled and Lindsey could tell that he was happy with the plan. “His soul will not be the only thing he’ll lose, I think the blonde Slayer, the one he loves the most, he can lose her too .”
