“You know what happened to Angel? That’s great!” Giles said.
“Yeah,” Willow started to say, but at that moment the window shattered and a huge demon jumped through. The thing was blue-green and had more arms than Willow could count. She shrieked, and Giles jumped up and ran towards where he kept his weapons. Unfortunately, he kept the weapons in a cabinet in the kitchen, which was where the demon had come in from. Giles jumped in front of Willow, and got ready to defend himself. Suddenly, Buffy burst in through the front door which was half-off of it’s hinges from her kicking it.
She easily covered the length of the room, and went into a fighting position she had learned from Angel. When she realized she did that, she paused for a second and the demon kicked her in the chest. She went flying backwards but got up quickly and ran straight for the demon. She punched it in it’s face and she was sure she heard something crack. It fell down unconscious and she ran over to Willow to see if she was okay.
Willow breathed slowly, trying to calm down. She had a headache, but other than that she was fine. She started to explain what happened to Angel.
“Angel was cursed. I don’t know who did it but I found the spell in one of Giles’ books. I don’t think…” Willow’s voice trailed off.
“You don’t think what, Will?” Buffy demanded.
“I…don’t…think we can get him back.” Willow said quietly.
“What? No! Why?” Buffy asked, suddenly worried.
“Buffy, this is dark magick. Really dark. And really powerful. I don’t think there is anyone powerful enough to break this curse. Please…don’t get mad at me.” Willow pleaded.
“Willow, I’m not mad at you. You didn’t do anything,” Buffy said, “It’s just, someone has to be able to stop this. Someone HAS to.”
