"Angel!" Willow ran out of the Bronze, then took off. She could still here voices coming from one direction. And there he was, still with the dark blond.
"I really can't do anything around here, can I?" He didn't turn, just gripped the arm of his latest find. "Luckily for me," he turned around, face vamped out, "I've already had dinner." He dropped the body to the ground. "Another one your Slayer lost. Give Buffy the bad news. Then again--" he reached out, grabbing her arm. "--maybe I will."
Willow regained her senses, kicking him hard between the legs. "That hurts, Willow. But not too much. It kind of tickled." He pulled the hair away from her neck.
"Willow?" Once outside, Xander dropped Cordelia's hand.
"You'll go that way," she hissed. "I'll stay here." He nodded. "You do have a stake or something, right?" He turned around to stare at her, suddenly realizing that this maybe wasn't such a good plan with their lack of weapons...
"Um, if I need help, I'll scream." She nodded.
"Okay. Well, go!" She pushed him a little.
Xander turned down the alleyway and suddenly saw them. "Willow!"
"A jealous geek. Geez, Xand, isn't Cordy enough for you?" Cordelia rounded the corner behind her boyfriend, holding a silver necklace in her hand--a cross pendant dangling from it.
Angelus stared at the newcomers before yelling, "Dru!" From out of nowhere, the mad vampiress appeared. She grabbed Cordelia's arm, twisting it hard, making her drop the slim chain.
"Ow!" Xander turned around, just in time to see Drusilla knock out his girlfriend. "Cordelia!"
"Goodnight," breathed Dru.
Oz ran out of the Bronze, ran out to where he heard Xander yelling. He turned the corner and saw Drusilla, threw a bottle of holy water at her. It caught her in the center of her back, and she whirled around. He pulled out the drumstick and pulled off the round end, showing off its sharp, wooden tip. Drusilla looked at it and smiled for a minute.
Angelus glared. Unlike Dru, he didn't find this amusing. "I could have her dead before you move that stake any closer," he growled. Oz shoved the stake forward. Xander and Angelus both tensed.
"You love her. The puppy dog is in love... Snapping and growling, ooh--" breathed Drusilla.
"Come on, Angel," Xander urged. "Who means more? Dru or Will?"
"And you all smell so scared. Especially her. Ooh, drink her, Angel. Tell me what she tastes like."
Cordelia moved a little. "Cordy?" Xander looked at her.
"X-Xander?" she managed to say.
"Run, Cordy," he whispered.
"Buffy!" Her voice was surprised.
"I'm really depressed here. And seriously, Spike must be pissed. Aren't you guys ever at home together? You know, a nice family thing?"
"Our family gets together more often than even you know, Slayer," hissed Angelus. "Tell you what, I'll send flowers as a contribution," he said, lowering his fangs to Willow's neck.
Buffy flipped off a dumpster, landing on the ground behind Angelus. "Get back!" He whirled around. "And get him off Dru."
"Oz," Buffy started, but Angelus interrupted again.
"Get him off, or the next time you see Willow, it'll be before you dust her." She kept her eye on him, but nodded.
"Oz, come on." He reluctantly put his hands down, releasing Drusilla. Almost instantly, she vamped out.
"That was very naughty," she told him.
"Dru! Save it for later!" shouted Angelus.
"Now Willow," said Buffy shortly. "Aw, not even a taste?" "Now." Buffy raised her own stake menacingly.
"Oh, Buff, you're no fun." He pushed Willow into Buffy, then ran away with Drusilla.
