The Powers That Be always had their usual meeting about everything that was going on in the demon universe but this time the meeting was different. This time it was about a champion that had saved the world. A champion named William Montgomery or ‘Spike’. This vampire had just sacrificed himself to save the world. He had put on an amulet and saved the world and died in his conquest. The Powers that Be believed that he should be rewarded in his victory against the First evil. This meeting was to find out what that reward would be.
As Monsuma the head of the Powers that Be called order to the council everyone went completely quiet. Monsuma was a tall being about 7’5 and his skin was a pale shade of blue. He had black hair and red eyes that could tell if you were lying. He wore a toga like the ancient Greeks would wear and he wore no shoes. His name came from the Aztec leader “Montezuma” because when his mother named him she knew that he would be a great leader
“I now call order to the Council of the Powers that Be!!!” he said in a rather demanding and firm voice.
“We are here to decide the fate of Spike, a vampire with a soul that has sacrificed himself to save the world. There are many rewards we could give this vampire. I would like to hear any suggestions and then I will tell you a plan that I have myself. Anyone with ideas please come forth and tell now.” He said.
A Feoryl demon named Solac who was part of the council said, “We could bring him back as something he wasn’t before. Such as another type of Demon who is stronger and therefore he could help the world even more.
“A most intriguing idea Solac.” said Monsuma. “I will ponder that as the meeting goes on.” “Any other ideas?” he said.
A human named Lindsey who was one of the new arrivals to the council said, “We could reunite him with his grandsire Angelus now called Angel. Angel now works at Wolfram and Heart. We could send him there in his amulet so he could help the only other vampire with a soul.”
“I will also ponder that. Lindsey right?”
“Now I will tell you an idea that I have my self. I am planning to make Spike human and reuniting him with is one true love Buffy Summers, “The Slayer”. I believe that he will truly find peace in the world being human and in her arms. Though I did like your ideas Solac and Lindsey I believe that this is the best thing for Spike.” He said
At that moment lights surrounded the amulet on the table and a second after their was a red package.
“Buffy Summers will be finding Spike soon” He said “Council dismissed” he said in a finalized voice.
And with a crack of thunder all the demons shimmered out and the humans walked out all except Lindsey who thought, “I will get to you Spike. I need you to fight Angel for me. I thought with my plan it would finalize that but I guess I am going against the Slayer now too. If I turn Angel into Angelus then the Slayer and you will come to Wolfram and Heart and defeat him. This will take some planning. I must go to my co-partner and discuss this with her. But we must act quickly before Angel destroyed anything else in my beloved ‘Special Projects’ unit. I will be the President at Wolfram, all that stands between me in that is Angel ore Angelus so to speak.”
And with that he walked out of the room a target in his head. A Girl, and a soon to be ex-vampire.
