Xander hurt. A lot.
He always seemed to hurt at the moment. He cracked an eye open and saw Willow looking down at him. She smiled with relief when she saw that Xander was awake. Then she checked herself and the smile disappeared.
"Xander?" she said. "Is that you?"
"Yeth," Xander tried to reply. He swallowed a couple of times and tried again. "I'm in my body?"
Relief washed over Willow's face. "Yes, yes you are."
Xander smiled weakly back. "Good." And sank back into unconsciousness.
