Angel stared for a minute and then said, "How are we going to do that?" Cordelia smiled at him and said, "You and I will pretend we're dating. Buffy will be so jealous she'll come running back to you. And Xander will come back to me." "Cordelia, I don't think this will work. Buffy sounded serious. Like there was no way we'd ever get back together. Plus, I thought you were mad at Xander," Angel said. Cordelia sighed and said, "Yes, but I'm only pretending. That was Plan A. This is Plan B. I mean, I thought if I was really mean to Xander, he would feel really guilty and try to make it up to me. But it was no good. So, I came up with this plan instead." Angel was looking lost and confused. "I don't know," he said. "What if this really hurts Buffy?" "You always hurt the one you love, Angel. Let's give a try. Please?" Cordelia said. "All right," Angel replied. "But only on one condition." "What's that?" Cordelia asked. "If it doesn't work in 1 week, it's off. Okay?" he said. "You bet, baby," she said grinning. Oz drove Buffy back to the library. "Where are you taking me?" she asked. "I'm going to take you to the library and get you some help. Obviously, you're not yourself," he replied. "NO!" Buffy shouted. "Let me go!" Oz stubbornly replied, "No, you need help. This is for your own good." He parked at the high school and took Buffy to the library. Xander and Willow were there. "Oz?" Willow asked. "What's wrong with Buffy?" "I found her on the side of the road. She doesn't remember who she is," he replied. "Oh god," Xander said. "If we were attacked by some big demon thingy right now, we'd be really screwed." Willow nodded and said, "We have to help her. Let's go." Oz ran out of the library. Willow looked at Xander and said, "We have to tell him, Xander." "I know, Will. Let's deal with this first. We have to figure out what happened," Xander replied.
