Buffy had to get outta there. She couldn't go on lying to them. The world was ending, but not because of demons laying eggs...but beacuse of her honey The Immortal. He'd broken up with her after she wouldn't help him destroy Angel and Spike, of course he didn't need her help. He sent them to a holding demension! Now He's trying to go one better and destroy the world, and the only way to stop him is to get Angel and Spike back. And to do that she needs a sacrifice....Riley.
*But can I do that?* Buffy asked herself. *Can I kill him? Can I even hurt him? And anyway Faith would kill me!* Buffy got on thee bus and headed for home.
'So what? We need to kill a couple demons. What's the big deal?' Kennedy asked Willow.
'Well they're demons, and they're meant to be pretty tough.' Willow hated lying to Kennedy. Buffy had told her best friend about her little problem and asked Willow to hlp her. Of course Willow wasn't gonna say no, was she. What kinda friend would she be then? So she got her magick stuff and her girlfriend and headed to save the world, if she could...
'But Riley...why you gotta go take it now? can't you phone them, later. We were gonna go to D3?' Faith asked her lover.
'I have to Faith..I swear it won't take long.' Riley walked out the door, so he could get a signal.
'Hello? Yes, I'm him but I'm no longer part of the association. Rome? What about Rome? There's a demon in Rome that you want me to destroy? I'm sorry, I can't do it. Goodbye' Riley said to the guy on the other end of the line before walking back inside.
'So, what was it about?' Faith asked.
'Some demon.'
'Where?'
'Rome.'
'Rome. Oooh exotic!' Faith got excited. 'Are we going?'
'No, I turned the job down'
'Why the hell did you do that?'
'Cause, I don't wanna work for them anymore...It's all bad.'
'Crap, I thought I was getting a free holiday.'
'Sorry... DO you still wanna go out?'
'Hell yeah! I would never turn down a night out!' The couple walked out the door.
