(Buffy looked at her mother at amazement)
Buffy: He's not a vamp. Come in Xavier.
Xavier: Thank you. (Walks in)
Joyce: I'm just trying to be careful, I'm new to this whole vampire
thing.
Xander: It does take a while.
Cordeila: It's like learning your abc's.
Buffy: What's up?
Xavier: I didn't show up for your company. I have to tell you more and
I think I'm going to need you and your watcher to come.
Joyce: I want to come.
Giles: I must allowed against that.
Joyce: I'm her mother who the hell are you!
Buffy: Stop it the both of you! Xavier, could she come?
Xavier: She isn't really needed to come. However, she is your mother I think she deserves the right to know a lot more.
Giles: I didn't want to put her in danger Buffy that's all.
Xander: Listen me and Cordy are going to leave. See ya Buffy.
(Xander and Cordeila leaves like this, XAnder goes to give Buffy a hug, Buffy gives him a small one and give cordeila a big one)
(They leave)
Joyce: Buffy are you mad at Xander?
(Buffy remembers that he is the one who neglected to mention that
Willow was trying to restore Angel's soul again)
Buffy: Let just say I'm freezeing him out for now.

(Buffy, Joyce, Giles and Xavier walk into Angel's room)

Buffy: Seems like forever since I been here.

Joyce: I take it this is where that boy named Angel lived.
Buffy: Being here.
Xavier: I know Buffy, he's my best friend, it hurts.
Buffy: I'm Just blocking out the pain.

Joyce: What?!
Buffy: Angel?
(She looks around the room)
Xavier: That's right Buffy you get Angel back. You need him personally and for your next battle.
Joyce: Why what's going on?
Xavier: If the phopehcy this is the year. Evil will visit earth in three's. One will be released from hell, one will be released from imprisonment and will be a zombie of the good's past.
Joyce: How danger is this?
Xavier: From the trip to Hell to the battle. One word comes to mind lifethreatening.
Giles: Is there anyway we could stop these from happening?
Xavier: No. They have to happened it sure like the super bowl for football.
Buffy: Instead of playing for a ring and the right to be called champions. We will be playing for the lives of mankind.
Joyce: My daugther has to do this
Buffy: Mother it's sorta like a no-brainer.
Giles: It will be key for us to get you back into school.
Buffy: Good luck. I'm sorta like expelled.
Xavier: Not as of tommorrow. (Gives Buffy a letter)
(Takes the letter and opens it up)
Buffy: I, go back to school in two days. I have to report to the Principal office. To meet the new principal.
Xavier: Tell Elena I said hi.
Buffy: Who's Elena?
Xavier: An immortal who trained me.
Buffy: What happened to principal Snyder?
Xavier: He was met with an overwhemling of material that was going to leave him a dead man walking.
Joyce: You threatened him!
Xavier: No. Basically I expose him for the fraud he is.
Giles: Good show.
Buffy: How long before this evil comes up?
Xavier: One week. We have to get Angel out before then.
Joyce: I don't know Buffy this sounds dangerous. (She looks at her daugther eye-to-eye) Which isn't something new to you. How important is this Angel?
Buffy: How can you say that mom?
Joyce: He is a vampire. How can you be in love that something kills and freeds on us?
Buffy: Mom, when he killed and fed he had no soul. Vampires are demons! When he loved me, risk his life for me, and made love to me. He had a soul, he knew what love was and he knew how to treat a lady. Every time I needed help I came to him and he made any body or thing ever harm me.
Joyce: It's because you didn't have a good home life.
Buffy: You don't believe me about Angel.
Joyce: Getting invovled with a vampire is irresponsible. Why didn't you tell her that?
Giles: Because he wasn't the basic vampire she kills on a day-to-day basis. He as saved her and her friend's lives and as helped us out on more then one occassion. I will not allow you mother or not to swing your finger at Buffy. She is the slayer, she is however a teenage girl. Who hasn't had a normal life ever since she is fifteen.
Joyce: I'm sorry. Come home when your finish here.
(Joyce begins to leave and giles walks with her) Thank you.
(Giles and joyce leaves)
Xavier: On a personal note, I think you did the right thing to tell her.
Buffy: Yeah. So what do we do know?
-If i could melt your heart, we'll never be apart.
Buffy: I want my angel back.
-Give yourself to me
Buffy: I feel so empty.
-You hold the key
Xavier: There's a lot more stake because if you beat this evil that's coming. The hellmouth will be destroyed. Then the one who kills the main evil, whoever it is, gets three wishes.
Buffy: So however you look at it? No more slaying here and I'll have a normal life.
Xavier: a slay here and there.
Buffy: Let's do it.
Xavier: We need one more person.
Buffy: Who?
Xavier: A witch.
Buffy: I know one.
