Angel steered the women in the direction of the hospital. He didn’t like leaving Buffy alone, especially with a vampire, and especially since he had heard a couple of things about a new power in town after the Slayer. He didn’t really know if they correct, but he liked to be on top of things. Especially when it came to Buffy. It wasn’t a long walk; the women had been quiet the whole way there and only said Thank you once or twice. He felt bad for her because she looked terrified and lost. She was probably a skeptic, or a fan of Vampire tales, and got a real scare when she found out the truth. Especially since she lived in the place where the vamps infested.
They finally came to the hospital, and Angel heard the women whimper. He knew she must have been thinking, about what she was going to tell the doctors and everyone else. He knew she must have been thinking that she’s crazy. Angel turned to her and said gently, “It’ll be all right” She nodded and said Thank you, and they walked into the Hospital.
When they walked in the hospital, it was in the middle of being semi-busy. There were patients sitting on chairs waiting to be helped, and there were people filing out paper work. There was one or two stretchers being pushed around the room, and there was a nurse who was helping a woman who had a gauze tissue up to her neck. It had been a vampire obviously. Angel could spell blood all around, but he ignored that. He walked over to a nurse who was approaching a circular desk and said politely, “Excuse me”
The nurse turned toward and smiled being as friendly as possible said, “Can I help you?”
“Yes, that woman over there” he pointed to her “I think she’s been traumatized, or she’s in shock”
“Do you know her?” the nurse asked
“No, I just found her in an alley”
“Okay, thank you” and she walked toward the woman who was staring around with wide eyes a cigarette still clenched in her hands.
Angel surprised that the nurse didn’t ask more questions, walked away and almost made it to the door when he heard something.
He turned to look at two men who had said something that caught his attention, “A young woman was found in an alley way near the bronze, she was traumatized, someone who called up said she was screaming, she’s in bad shape” said a guy in an outfit that ambulance drivers wear, to a doctor.
“An ambulance down there yet?” the doctor asked
“Yeah, I am going down too”
“Good luck” the doctor told the ambulance driver, as the guy headed for the door.
Angel was out of the hospital before the guy could take a step; there was only one person in an alley way near the Bronze. Buffy.
