Andrew stared at her back, in complete awe at his own stupidity. He was going to be 21 next fall! He had better be able to talk to a sixteen year old. And he was not gay!
Andrew turned around and went back into the house. He needed some guy advice. The only guy around... and not that Andrew was complaining... Was Spike.
"Uh, Spike?"
"Hmm?" He was tampering with his fags, as often he was.
"You know about girls, right?"
"Yeah, I suppose I do. I thought you were into guys, though."
"Um, no. No, I'm not. Can... uhh... Can I ask you a question?"
"Yeah. While I'm not interested."
"Right, um, I like... this one girl. She, uh, lives here. And, uh, is perfect and... flawless."
"Em, got it bad, huh? Who's the lucky gal?"
"Well... uh..."
"Spit it out."
"Dawn."
"Fiesty one, huh? Well, tell her!"
"I, uh, I tried."
"She regect you?"
"Uh, no."
"Then what?"
"She, uh, asked me if Buffy set me up to it. I, uh, said yeah."
"Hmm, in a fix, huh? Tell her the truth."
"Will it, uh, work?"
"Honesty is the best policy."
"Right."
Andrew ran back out the door and watched her. She was within shouting distance.
"DAWN!"
She turned.
"I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!"
She came running back, boozombas bouncing.
*Oh, God*
"I lied."
"Huh?"
"Buffy didn't set me up. I love you, Dawn and I wondered if you wanted to go out sometime."
