Buffy realized when she woke up, it was a Monday morning. Also that she couldn’t sleep in any longer.
“15 more minutes.” mumbled Buffy.
“Come on, hunny, you have to go to school.” said her mom.
Buffy got ready and realized something was different. Then she realized that she had spent that time with Angel, and that no one else knew. Knowing that she almost forgot, she reminded herself, looking at her ring that Angel gave her. She played around with it, thinking if only it was reality…
“Buffy! Hurry up! You don’t want to be late!!!” yelled her mom.
Buffy rushed off and dashed out the door.
“No breakfast, sweetie?” asked her mom.
“Nah, I’m not hungry.” replied Buffy.
“Alright then, have a nice day.” said her mom.
Buffy went out the door and walked to school. In her mind, she was thinking of what she did with Angel and had a huge grin on her face. She started to skip, instead of walk. When she arrived at school, her friends were waiting for her
“Hey Buff. You’re looking…jolly today.” said Xander
“Yeah, did something exciting happen with Angel?” asked Willow anxiously.
“Yeah.” replied Buffy with a grin on her face.
“What? As if there is anything exciting when Angel comes.” said Cordelia.
“Cordelia!!!” cried Willow and Xander.
“What?” asked Cordelia.
“Let Buffy talk.” replied Willow. “Continue, please.”
“It…was really…exciting.” said Buffy, smiling almost as if she was about to laugh.
“Well, you see. I was patrolling inside this cave that I found…” began Buffy.
And of course, Buffy explains the whole wonderful weekend to her friends.
~~~later that night~~~
Buffy is in her room, doing her homework. She sees a shadow in the corner of her eye.
“Buffy?”
“You scared me.” said Buffy. It was Angel.
“I still remember. Do you?” asks Angel.
“Yeah. I told my friends.”
Angel grinned. “Well I hope we can have another one of those.”
“Yeah me too.”
“Come here.” Angel gave her a long kiss goodnight.
