They woke up, both feeling different some how.
"Hey Angel, do you feel..."
"Different? Yeah..."
"The sun is out Angel, we better stay inside."
"Buffy, I want to see the outside, I'll bring my coat to cover my self."
They walked outside, but suddenly, Angel didn't start to burn.
"Angel! You can walk outside in the sun!"
"Wow. I really can."
They walked outside hand in hand and went for a long walk. They went to the shopping center and saw the shops open, but ofcourse, no one was there. They walked into a jewelry shop. There was a beautiful gorgeous diamond necklace. Angel took it, it wouldn't matter if he took it since no one was there. He put it around Buffy's neck. Buffy gazed at herself in the mirror.
"Oh my...Angel...I don't know what to say..."
"It's alright Buffy, you don't need to say anything."
"Angel, thank you. It's beautiful."
"Well, how about if I gave you this..." Angel gave Buffy a beautiful diamond ring and slipped it on her ring finger of her left hand.
"Angel please...it's too much. I don't deserve this..."
"Buffy, you are the most valuable thing to me, that no money can buy. You are the woman I love. You deserve this. Marry me?"
Buffy cried in tears of joy. "Yes, Angel. I will marry you."
They walked back to Buffy's house and slept.
While Buffy was asleep, Angel snuck out and got Buffy a beautiful wedding dress and a tux for himself.
"Angel?" Buffy looked next to her where Angel slept. "Angel?"
She went downstairs and looked around. In the living room, she saw Angel in his tux that he bought and her wedding dress on the couch. Buffy was speechless and crying with joy.
"Remember when I asked you if you'd marry me?"
"Yes?"
"Will you marry me today?"
"Yes, yes ofcourse. I will marry you, Angel."
Buffy put on her wedding gown and they linked arms and went to a church. Since, there was no priest to marry Buffy and Angel, they just said their "I do's" and went out of the church. They hugged and kissed eachother, loving eachother more than ever. They were so happy that they could not explain in words. Yet, they knew what they were saying. They were speechless the whole time. They felt like they were really married. They went to a nice big house and pretended it was their new home. They slept there for the night.
The next morning, they went to an amusement park. They now refered to eachother as Mr. and Mrs. Angel. They smiled each time. They went on all the rides, even the merry-go-round. When they went on the ferris wheel, they could see a lot of California.
"Wow, I never knew California was so..."
"Big."
When they finished their outing, they went back to Buffy's house and talked all night.
The next day, they walked outside and it began to snow.
"It's snowing."
"That's weird."
They built snowmen and did a snowball fight. It felt like Christmas, so they bought a Christmas tree. Since they were content already, they decided not to get any presents for eachother. They watched the snow fall while they snuggled next to eachother on the couch near the fireplace. They fell asleep on eachother's shoulders.
The following day, they went to a movie theater an watched Titanic. At the point where Jack dies in the freezing ocean in the movie, Buffy was crying and Angel hugged her. At the end, the hugged eachother until they fell asleep.
Since it was the 6th day, Buffy and Angel wanted to do something special. They went to a near by park where they had patrolled once and went on the swings and played soccer. By the time evening rolled by, Angel took Buffy to a fancy dinner restaurant and they talked and had a lovely time.
On the final day, they both wrote down what happened on a piece of paper, trying not to forget this week.
"Angel, sweetie, will you forget this week? I hope I never do."
"Buffy, hunny, I will never forget this week. I have never been so happy before. Thank you."
They hugged eachother and kissed. They would never forget that week. They went to the beach and watched the sunset once again, and walked to Angel's appartment. They didn't want to finish the week so fast, so they talked until they had nothing else to say.
They woke up the next morning, exactly as they were when they drank the potion.
"Angel, sweetie..." Both Buffy and Angel smiled because they were still calling eachother as if they were still married. "Angel...," she looked on her left hand. And there on her ring finger, was still Buffy's ring. "Angel I still have the ring on."
"Buffy, you don't have to wear it in front of your friends and your mother. I understand."
"No, Angel. I'll never take it off."
