The first few chapters will follow ATS first ep just to set up Xander,Cordy and Doyle into the story so please bear with it.In a few chapters new characters will appear.Some will be old friends coming to L.A and others will be enemies changing sides.

Lets just say Xander attempt to meet Tina didn't go off to well at first.
"You’ve been watching me?Are you some type of stalker or something?" Tina suddenly yelled in outrage after Xander finally got up the nerve to talk to the young waitress.
"No! I'm not a stalker uhhh what I mean was that uhh...I was looking towards there and you kind of walked through there…"Xander started stammering.
"You don’t hit on girls very often, do you?" said Tina smiling at the way the young man was blushing as he stammered.
"No, it’s been a while."said Xander wanting to climb under the table and die from embarrassment"Plus I’m sort of new in town and don't really know anybody here."
"Do yourself a favor and don’t stay long in this town."said Tina as she started to wipe down the table next to the one Xander was sitting in.
"You never answered my question."said Xander pressing the issue once again.
"Am I happy?Lord that'll take some time to answer."smirked Tina" Do you have three hours?"
"Do I look very busy here?" said Xander smiling as he held out his hands in front of him.
Tina after a bit gave Xander a smile and said "I get off at ten."
Two hours later Xander is leaning against the side of his 57 Chevy Bel Air convertible wearing a sweater and dark slacks. Tina comes out of the Coffee Spot wearing a black sleeveless evening dress and in Xander opinion looking very very HOT.
"Wow. I suddenly feel very underdressed. Did you have plans to go to a fancy dinner party or something?" Xander asked a little stunned by the woman's beauty.
But Tina had to go and ruin the moment by pulling a bottle of mace out of her purse and pointing it right at Xander’s face
"I know who you are and what you’re doing here. Stay the hell away from me. And you tell Russell to leave me alone."
"Russell?"Xander blinked in confusion"Uhhh I'm sorry but I don’t know anyone who goes by the name Russell."
"You’re lying!"
"No I’m serious!"said Xander"I mean really who even goes by the name Russell now a days.I mean how stupid of a name is Russell anyway.Nope don't know any Russells here and I'll even pinky swear with you on it."
"Then why were you watching me?"asked Tina now being the one who was confused.
"Well because you looked lonely"shurgged Xander"So I figured since we have that in common we might go out and do something together."
Tina looks at him a while longer then lowers her mace in embarrassment "Oh god I’m so sorry."
"That’s okay." Xander said with a smile trying to put her a little at ease "In this town it's a good idea to be a little cautious.So trust me it's ok."
"No it’s not."said Tina looking down at her feet in shame"You were just trying to be nice to me and than I go and threaten you with bodily harm."
"Trust me I could have took it with out to much harm."laughed Xander but than got a serious look on his face"Who’s Russell?"
Tina shakes her head and starts to walk past him.
"I’d like to help."said Xander putting his hand on Tina arm causing her to stop as she walked by him.
"The only help I need is a ticket home.And that wasn't me asking for money."said Tina holding her head up proudly.
"Where’s home."
"Missoula, Montana."Tina told him but than her jaw dropped in surprise when she saw the look that crossed Xanders face"You've got to be kidding me!You’ve been to Missoula?"
"Yep"smiled Xander"I took a road trip this summer after graduation and stopped in there for some gas.There's a lot of pretty country through there."
"Lots of open land, lots of nothing else.I came here to become the next big movie star.But they weren’t hiring or at least they weren't hiring me."Tina sighed but than straightened herself up and ran her left hand down her dress to smooth out the non existent wrinkles in it"Well, I have a fabulous Hollywood party to go to. Hence the glamour.The girl giving it owes me a security deposit and I need the money.Well, it was nice threatening you."
"Do you need a lift?"asked Xander pointing to the antique car.
"Thanks"smiled Tina as she ran her hands down the length of the car"57Chevy Bel Air right?"
"That's right."said Xander a little surprised as they opened the doors and got in"You know about cars huh?"
"Yeah"Tina said still smiling "My dad use to run the only garage in Missoula so I learned a lot about cars growing up."
"Use to?"asked Xander a little afraid he already knew the answer.
"He died.My mom was forced to sell the garage and a year later I left for L.A. hoping to become a big star to help support my family."said Tina her smile vanishing as she talked.
"I'm sorry"said Xander a little upset with himself for bringing up the subject.
"It's ok."said Tina but than saw the look on Xander face"Trust me it's ok I've dealt with it already.So please let's hit that party before all the fun is gone."
"Yes maam"smiled Xander.
Fifteen minutes later Xander and Tina found the right apartment and enter the some what fabulous Hollywood party and than had a very large camera shoved into their face.
"Tina! Smile for the camera."the woman yelled" And please tell your friend who is this hunk of tall, dark and handsome there?"
"Just a new friend that I met a work tonight."said Tina smiling at Xander"But Margo I really need to talk to you.Do you have time?"
"Sure sweetie just grab yourself a drink.I’ll be right back with you."said Margo as she walked off still working the camera.
Tina heads for the refreshment bar and picks up a star shaped sandwich and smirks at the finger food"Cute. Everyone’s a star but me."
"Who’s Russell?"Xander asked pushing the subject again.
"He is someone I made the mistake of trusting."said Tina as she laid the sandwich back on the tray.
"Trusting someone is not a bad thing Tina."said Xander who immediately didn't lose the irony at what he just said.
Right Harris like you have room to talk about trusting people.You can count on one hand the amount of people you'v trusted this last year and still have five fingers left over ,Xander thought to himself.
"Believe me trusting Russell was the biggest mistake of my life."said Tina as she turned to face Xander"Even bigger than me believing I could be a big movie star and moving to this godforsaken town."
But before Xander could continue talking to her the ever chipper Margo came bouncing back up to them minus the camera.
"Here I am." said Margo in a voice that was about four decibels to high on the chipper meter.
"This wont take long."said Tina as she patted Xander on the arm and than started walking away with Margo.
"I would not leave that one unattended for too long."said Margo throwing a look at Xander over her shoulder and giving him a flirtatious smile as she was walked away with Tina.
After the two women had left Xander found himself just wandering around the party completly lost and very uncomfortable.The soldier part of his mind didn't like to be in a room full of this many people..
"You are a beautiful, beautiful man." some guy said suddenly as he walked up to Xander.
"Uhh thanks."said Xander now REALLY uncomfortable being at this party.
"You’re an actor." the man said as if already knowing the answer to the guestion.
"Uhh No sorry."
"A model than."the man said nodding his head.
"Hell no!"
"I’m Oliver. Ask anyone about Oliver. I’m a fierce animal. I’m your agent as soon as you call me." Oliver said as he reaches in his pocket and hands Xander his business card.
"But I'm not an actor or a model."said Xander as he tries to give the card back to the man.
"Funny. I like that. I like the whole new angle you got going here.But remember call me when your ready to become a big star.This isn’t a come on.I’m in a very serious relationship with a landscape architect." says Oliver as he's walking away from Xander.
Xander can't help but stare at the business card with a frown.He was just about to throw it down on the floor and start looking for Tina when he heard a voice behind him that made his heart stop.
"You know, they asked me to come back and read for a third time! I’m and actress. I don’t put up with things like that!And that's what I told them!"
NO IT CAN'T BE,thought Xander.I would have known if she was here! If it was really her I should have been able to picked up her scent as soon as I entered the room.
But Xander soon realized that the food,the alcohol and all the people crammed into this one room was causing his hyena senses to be overloaded.He quickly followed the sound of her voice.Not many steps later he picked up her familiar scent and was surprised at how the warm feeling of love and the cold fear of dread could hit his body at the same time.As he got closer he could now see with his own eyes that it was her.
"Cordelia?"
"OH MY GOD! XANDER?"Cordelia exclaimed as she turns around after hearing her name mentioned and almost falling down in shock at seeing her ex standing there.Xander was the last person Cordelia thought she would ever see again.
"Hey Cordy"smiled Xander one of his first true smiles"It's nice to see a familiar face."
"I didn’t know you were in LA. Are you visiting or living here?"
"Living here.You?"
"Malibu"Cordelia said very quickly"It's just small condo on the beach. Its not a private beach either, but I'm young so I forbear."
"That's good to hear." said Xander"So your acting I hear?"
"Yeah can you believe it? I mean I just started it to make some quick cash, and then boom, it was like my life!"Cordelia said smiling but than got a serious look on her face"You know Buffy called me and told me all about you."
"Really"said Xander feeling the anger start surging through him again"What did she tell you about me?"
"She said that you were possessed by that nasty old hyena spirit again and have gone all evil and if I were to see you I was supposed to call her immedialty so they could come and get you."
"Is that right?"Xander managed to get out through gritted teeth.
"So are you?"asked Cordelia him.
"Am I a what Cordy?"
"You know what Buffy said you were."Cordelia said as she holds up her hands like claws and tries to make a scary face"You know a grrr evil hyena person?"
"No Cordy I'm not an evil hyena person"laughed Xander"Buffy and Willow are just a bunch of dumbass no brain airheads that can't take the fact that I'm no longer just their 'Xander Shaped'normal human friend anymore."
"So what did happen to you than?"Cordelia asked very surprised at how he had just described the two women that she thought he cared for most in this world.
"I finally got some powers that I can use to fight evil and they couldn't accept it."said Xander getting angry again"So they just up and decided one day to attack me so they could try to use some type of spell on me to rip part of my brain out! Even Giles and Oz was in on it!"
Xander loved Cordelia but he knew sometimes she could be a little slow on the uptake and from the look she was given him he could tell this was one of those times.
"Look Cordy it's simple"sighed Xander"During the battle at graduation the hyena and the soldier spirit in me was released from where I had them bottled up in my mind. But this time instead of having them locked away again I decided to let the two of them merge with the part of me that was just pure old Xander 'Normal Human'Harris.I'm basically still me but with some way cool benefits from the merger and I wasn't about to let the Sunnydale Gang take them from me."
"What kind of benifits?"Cordelia asked him.
"Well from the soldier I got all his combat skills also all his memories of training and combat,plus all of his reflexes have been programmed into my mind and body for use. From the hyena I got a boost in my stamina and in my sense of sight,smell and hearing.I also have a healing factor that matchs Buffy slayer healing and I'm just about as strong as she is too.So you see Cordy,Buffy was no longer the only king of the hill back home.And THAT'S why she's so hot to trot to come after me and take my powers away from me."
"Wow! I'm kind of impressed with you Dorkhead!"said Cordelia smiling"Or maybe since you have all these new powers I should start calling you Nighthawk again."
Xander couldn't help but laugh at her old nickname for him "No Cor you don't have to call me that.I'm still just your old lovable Xander."Xander was a little embarrassed saying that since they were no longer a couple anymore and the reason why not was all his fault.But Xander felt a little bit of joy fill his heart when he saw how Cordelia didn't get mad at his comment but she was actually blushing.
"Oh well good."said Cordelia still blushing" Well, it was nice seeing you again Xander, but I've got to get back to mingling."
"Sure Cor I understand."Xander said feeling the joy in his heart leaving as she was about to go but than a thought hit him"Wait a second Cordy!"Xander started digging around in his pocket and pulled out a pen,he than grabbed a napkin off a table and started writting.When he was finished he handed the napkin to Cordelia who looked at it funny"That's my phone number and address.Feel free to call me or stop by my place anytime of the day or night that you want to.And I mean that Cordy anytime."
Cordelia gave him a big smile that warmed his heart again and placed the napkin into her small purse.
"Xander aren't you afraid that I might give your address to Buffy?Not that I would mind you!!"Cordelia quickly added"It's just that your taking a big chance here."
"It's ok Cordy I trust you."Xander said and watched as her big smile got even bigger and was surprised when she practically jumped on him and gave him a big bone breaking hug.As he hugged her Xander used his hyena sense of smell to once again take in her scent of expensive perfume and the cinnamon shampoo that she likes to use.Xander hated when Cordelia broke the hug and found himself alone again.
"Sorry Xander but I really need to get back to mingling." Cordelia said somewhat sad"But I will most definitely call you sometime.Might even pay you a visit one day."
"Looking foward to it Cordy."said Xander as he watched as the love of his life went back to working the semi-famous crowd.
"Right I just need to let her get back to being with other famous up and coming people and get back to my first assigment."Xander said to himself as he walked around the party looking for Tina
Good work Harris,Xander chastised himself.Your on your first mission for a bunch of high and mighty super angels and what do you do.You start chatting up your old girlfriend and lose sight of the girl you were sent to keep an eye on.Smooth Harris smooth.
After a few seconds of looking Xander found Tina standing in a corner talking to a young black haired man.
"Russell just wants to see you." Xander heard the man say as he started heading toward Tina.
"Leave me alone! I told you a hundred times I don't want to see him!"Tina yells and walks over to where Xander was.
"Of course she doesn’t have the money yet!" Tina seethed talking about Margo.
"Who was that?" asked Xander pointing at the man Tina had been talking to.
"Stacy"said Tina"He’s just a creep and he works for Russell..Can we please just go now?"
"Sure"said Xander as they headed for the door.
They got to the elevator and had a very quiet ride down.Xander was just about to ask her about Russell again when the door chimed and the elevator door opened on the parking garage of the hotel.Tina stepped out through and Xander was just about to when he suddenly sensed the attack coming.Three men ran up on top of them one grabbed Tina and took off with her while, the other two tackled Xander.Xander and the two men fall back into the elevator and the door closed up just as Stacy steps out of the elevator next to it.
"I told you that Russell wanted to see you."Stacy said as he gripped Tina arm and dragged her toward his car.
