Wesley's cell phone rang as he and Fred walked down the streets of Italy. "Hello?" he said as he answered.
"Hey," said Angel's voice. "What are you two up to? Find anything interesting? Anything fun? Hell, anything that will kill Spike?"
"Not really," said Wesley. "We're still searching for a taco place. I think it's hopeless, but...."
"Well," said Fred at his side, "Spain's right next to Italy. You would think they'd have a taco place around here somewhere."
Wesley shook his head, then continued talking to Angel. "How goes the visit with Buffy?"
"Well, I can't really talk to her because Spike and Dawn are right next to us, but other than that...." Angel sighed. "Awe, who am I kidding? It's not making any progress what so ever. Only good thing is that she isn't with The Immortal anymore."
"Well, that's something," said Wesley. "Good luck."
"You too," said Angel.
Wesley hung up the cell phone. "Fred," he said, "I'm starting to doubt the whole Tacos in Italy conxept. How does pizza sound? My feet are getting tired."
Fred sighed. "Remind me never to come to Italy again. Spain. Spain or Mexico. Tacos. Always take tacos into consideration."
Wesley smiled. "I'll remember that next time." He looked around. "And for now?"
"Pizza," she said. "Pizza is okay."
Meanwhile, Buffy walked into the kitchen where Angel had just hung up the phone. "Finding a way to escape, aren't you?" she said.
"No," Angel lied. "Just calling to check up on Wesley and Fred. Their looking for a place to eat. You'll probably see them later."
"Good," said Buffy. "Willow told me a lot about Fred. I'm dying to meet her, and it'll be nice to see Wes again. Tell me, is he still stuffy and aregent?"
"Not really," said Angel.
"Damn," said Buffy. "I was hoping he was still that way. Give me a laugh or two."
"He's still very uncoordinated," Angel said. "He's prone to falling and slipping on things. How's that?"
"That works," said Buffy, putting Dawn's coffee cup in the sink to wash later. She turned to face Angel. "Angel, why are you here? And be honest."
"Honest?" Angel asked.
"Completely honest."
"To get you back," he said. "I want you back. I can't lose you. I still love you, Buffy. I don't want to be away from you. My job in LA is done. I don't care where I have to go or what I have to do--"
Buffy threw her arms around him and kissed him on the lips. Mostly to shut him up with the whole "Undying Love" thing, but Angel put his arms around her waist. Suddenly, Buffy pulled away. "Wait," she said. "We can't do this. Not with Spike around."
"Damn," said Angel.
"Can you think of anyway to get rid of him? I don't mean it that way. I mean, find him a girl. Someone he could have a serious, stable relationship with. Is that possible?" Buffy asked.
Angel snorted. "I doubt it," he said. "It's like searching for tacos in Italy."
"Huh?" said Buffy, confused.
"Don't ask," said Angel. "It's just impossible."
"I believe in the impossible," said Buffy. "Plus, matchmaker is fun. I can't wait to set him up with someone. I'll put an add in the paper."
"What will it say?" Angel asked. "Single, souled vampire seaks trashy slut who won't try to stake him. That's compelling."
"Hey, I'm not a trashy slut!" said Buffy.
"You know what I meant," said Angel. "I think we should just stick with a blow up doll for him."
"You need to have a bit more faith in my matchmaking skills," said Buffy. "I was the one who convinced Willow to go out with Oz."
"Yeah, and Willow's gay now," Angel pointed out. "I really don't want Spike gay. He might hit on me."
Buffy gave Angel a dirty look. "Believe me," said Buffy. "I can handle setting up Spike. It might even be fun. Just watch."
