Sunnydale Park

Buffy was walking home after a long discussion on how she wold have to have a long distance thing set up just in case she did go. She was so deep in thought about leaving Sunnydale that she didn't notice, for awhile, that she was being followed. Without turning she said, "Hello Angel."

"Hello love! How ya doing?"

"Fine. You?" a bit disinterested.

"Great. It's nice to have a civilized conversation sometimes. So, it looks like we're about to have a birthday girl."

"Yeah. Your point being?"

"Just wanted to invite you to a little party. Your friends will be there."

"What do you mean?" she started getting angry.

"Nothing. Just that their getting the same invitation that you are." Two uglies came out of the shadows and grabbed her. She struggled, but their grip was too strong.

"Where are you taking me?"

Angel leaned forward towards her ear and whispered, "It's a surprise." Angel laughed and they carried her off into the night.

Spike's Warehouse

Buffy found herself chained to a chair in a warehouse. She struggled with the chains on her wrists, but that didn't help. She looked around her and saw Willow, Giles, Xander, Oz, Cordelia, and Ms. Calendar. All unconscious and chained to chairs. They were surrounding a table. They were all dressed in 18th century clothes. She looked down at her dress. It was the one from Halloween a few years ago.

"It looks like Sleeping Beauty is awake. So how do you like your party?" It was Spike.

"You could have done more with the decorating. Wooden boxes aren't very festive."

"Oh, don't worry. We're going to be painting those boxes soon. With the blood of your friends."

"Oh, then you might as well let Ms. Calendar go. She's not my friend anymore."

"Oh really? Than you won't mind watching her die."

"You look pretty in you dress," said Dru.

"Thank you! I was just wondering when you guys were going to get over the 18th century, these clothes are so faux pas." "What do you want Spike?" < I wonder where Angel is? >

"Oh! I didn't want you here. This party is from Angelus."

"Miss Edith was bad today, Spike. She didn't drink her tea." Dru commented. She was way off topic.

When Angel appeared, Dru said, "Oh look! My daddy's here. Hello Daddy."

"Hey babe! So are our guests awake yet?"

They heard a groan and turned to see Xander waking up, "What's with people and hitting me?"

"What can I say? It's fun!" Angel smirked at that comment.

"Angel!" Xander was about to get up when he noticed the chains.

"Love the accessories, Xander," remarked Angel. He laughed at the chains and his useless attempts to get out of them.

"You're going to pay for this!" Xander said through his teeth.

"Oh? And who's going to make me pay?"

"I am!" said Buffy, who appeared right behind him.

"How did she get out of those chains?" asked a pissed off Spike.

Buffy had managed to slip her hands out of the chains by inching them towards the end of the chain arms. "You had an idiot chain me up, didn't you?" She kicked Angel in the head and went into fighting mode.

"Those guys are all idiots!" Angel lunged toward her and she jumped out of the way. "Looks like I have to do this the hard way after all."

Buffy flipped towards Druscilla pulled out a stake and dusted her quickly. Dru hadn't been anticipating the attack and she screamed in agony and turned into ashes.

"Noooo!" yelled Spike. "I've had enough of this waiting for you to kill her, but now she dies."

Spike leaped towards her in blind fury and as Buffy pulled out another stake and aimed, he landed right on it.

"Looks like it's 2 - 0 for the slayer and the evil vamps have yet to score.'

She and Angel went into an open area and fought. She kicked him in the head and was about to again, when he picked her up and slammed her to the ground. She was disorientated for a minute and Angel took this opportunity to pick her up again and slam her against a wall. He grabbed the manacles hanging from there and locked them on her wrists.

"Hey, that was a very heroic try, but you can't kill me that easily. Remember that I know everything about you. How you think. How you fight. Even how you feel." He ran a finger along her jaw and down her neck. "You do have a beautiful neck. And such smoothed, clear, baby white skin. I could just eat you."

"I bet you could." Buffy muttered.

Behind Angel, the slayerettes, the watcher and the computer teacher slowly woke up.

"Where am I?" asked Cordelia.

"Apparently we're all chained to chairs and Buffy, against that wall."

"And Angel looks like he's going to have a slayer for dinner," said Xander. "Oh, and Spike and Druscilla are those pile of ashes on the floor over there."

"Oh look! Our guests are conscious. Time for the fun to begin. Let's see. Who should I play with first." Angel rounded the table. "The watcher, one Rupert Giles, with all his books of knowledge.

"Next we have the watcher in training, one Willow Rosenberg, that goes on the 'dreaded machine' for Mr. Watcher.

"Or Miss Beauty Queen, Cordelia Chase. The vain girl who always manages to harm someone's plans by accident. Fluke Girl, is what you are.

"Moving on, we have Mr. Alexander Harris, slayerette. The guy that was always afraid that I was going to bite him." He leaned down by his ear, "Guess what? Be afraid! Be very afraid."

Angel slowly walked by Ms. Calendar and Oz, "You two, I don't hate. Well maybe you," he said to Calendar, "failed to do your duty didn't you? Couldn't keep us apart, could you? You'll never be able to keep Buffy from me. Right babe?"

"Just let them go. You have me." Buffy yelled.

"But I have to have some fun, so they won't be able to leave until I'm through with them." He walked over to Buffy and kissed her. She bit him hard on the lip till he bled, "Hey, I'm suppose to do the biting in this relationship." He smacked her across the face.

"Thanks for the reminder." Her cheek stung from his palm.

Spike's Warehouse

Xander had noticed that everyone's hands were chained poorly. They could just slide the chains off the chair arms, but if he moved the chains too quickly the Vamps would notice.

With his hands free he could do anything. Well almost anything, but what should he do?

< I can't stand this anymore. I can't let him kill them because of me and I can't kill him because I love him. If he can't torment me anymore, there would be no point in hurting my friends. If I get out of this with everyone, I could leave Sunnydale. But he could still get me through my friends. Even if Kendra were here to kill him, I don't think I could take it if he died > Buffy didn't know what she could do to stop him, either he died or she did.

Spike's Warehouse

Everyone sitting around the table had managed to get their hands free, except Cordelia. She had instead taken the time to yell at all the vampires as if nothing were happening.

"These chains are going to kill my skin! Do you know how much it's going to cost to get it creamy and smooth again! And what' with these clothes?! It's the ninety's, the 1990's and big frilly skirts are so out!" and on and on and on she went.

Willow, who had gotten over the idea of Xander and Cordy, was going out with Oz, the rock musician. It took her a while to get over her huge crush on Xander and also the thought that Xander would want to be with someone he hated rather then her. She had moped over him and avoided him as much as possible after she caught them kissing. Buffy had helped her through it all, by pointing out Oz, a senior, who was in to her. After a while she realized that Oz was the one she wanted and said, "To hell with Xander! If he doesn't want what's right in front of him, I don't want him either."

That was one year ago and Willow has been dating Oz since then Reminiscing over the past suddenly gave her a plan.

Xander came up with a plan of his own he put that plan into action. He pulled the arm off the chair, it being wood and ran towards a vamp. Kicked the vamp hard in the stomach, grab his head and slammed him into the ground. The stake went right through the vampire's heart, turning it into dust.

This drew the attention of all the other vampires and the good guys. Cordelia, still chained to her chair, was screaming.

The good guys being up about 7 - 0, Angel grabbed Buffy's neck and yell, "Stop!"

Everyone froze.

"It was very heroic of you to try and save yourselves, but that will get you nowhere. There are about forty vampires surrounding this building and the area around it. You can't escape, because you can't get through them all."

The five of them were grabbed by the demons and held in place without a chance to move or do anything else to try and escape. Angel grabbed Buffy and took her away.

Willow having lost her chance to do her great plan, which would have gotten them all out, had thought of another one. "Xander, you are such a loser!" she shouted at her best friend, "If you hadn't done anything I would have gotten us all out of here. But noooo... you have to try and be all heroic and get all of us in trouble!"

Xander, hurt by what his friend had said, looked very shocked, "Willow, why are you saying this? I was only trying to help."

"Because it's the truth!" she didn't mean it, but to get this to work, she was going to have to lie through her teeth. < I hope Giles gets the clue about what I'm doing > "You always get us into big messes!"

"Yeah! Well at least I did something, instead of sitting on my ass thinking!"

"Well, maybe you should think more. You might have come up with a better plan then this one!" she said sarcastically, as if Xander didn't have the brains to think of anything.

"Yeah, then why don't you think of a plan to get us out of this!" Xander challenged. He was really mad.

"Maybe I will!" because their argument had distracted the vampires, Giles and Ms. Calendar were able to take out the vampires holding them. They killed the vamps holding Oz and Willow, as well. Xander then noticed that nothing was holing him still any more.

"Oh! That was your plan," Xander said smiling.

"Had you going there didn't I?" asked a happy Willow.

"Yeah, you did." Xander said seriously.

"I didn't mean a word I said." Willow didn't want her friend to be unhappy.

"Yeah, I know." Xander said, "nice plan, though."

"Hey! Will someone get me out of these?!" screeched Cordelia from her chair.
