Not mine, you know that. They all belong to Joss Whedon, Mutant Enemy etc. The storyline is mine, though.

Part One

The Bronze was crowded. It seemed like the bad vive from the Hellmouth not only made people pray harder, but party harder as well. All the people we know and love were there, Buffy, Xander, Willow and sitting at one table, Cordelia, Anya and the new girl, Selene sitting at another while Oz was playing. Cordelia seemed to be enjoying herself, enjoying herself so much that if you were not involved in the drama that is her love life you could think she was acting. Xander, unfourtunately, was quite involved.

“Look at her. Laughing it up. I bet she’s loving not being with us anymore, not dealing with slimy demons, and me.”

“What, now you differentiate?” Willow asked. In response to Xander’s glare: “What, I can’t have wit?”

“Ahh… forget this. I’m going home.” Xander replied.

“I’ll walk you, ok?” Buffy interjected while picking up her jacket.

“I’m not going to wait for Oz, I’m sure he’ll understand. I’m coming.”

The three teenagers picked up and walked out of the club. Cordelia tried not to make it obvious, but she watched them walking out. She sighed.

“What’s wrong, Cordy?” Selene asked her. “There are those two guys I was telling you about, aren’t they gorgeous? Come on, let’s go talk to them!”

“Nah, I think I’m just going to pack it in for tonight. I’m a little tired.”

“Okay, bye Cordy.” Anya said, kissing her on the cheek.

As the two girls walked over to the guys in the other side of the room, Cordelia slipped on her white cardigan over the white tank top and short maroon brocade skirt. She sighed again, thinking that there was something missing in her life. With her thoughts thus occupied, she didn’t remember the danger of walking through the streets of Sunnydale alone at night. She got quite a shock when two vampires appeared before her. She gasped.

“Well, what have we here?” Spike queried in his English accent. “I was just looking for something to eat, but you may be much more! Lucius, grab that girl.”

The other vampire came towards her, and in a last ditch effort, she kicked him in the stomach. It didn’t really hurt him, but Spike had to admire her courage. Soon enough, she was brought under the control of Lucius, with only a small bruise on her chin. She struggled the whole way back to the factory. When she arrived there, she was put into a room which was pretty bare, but nicer than she had expected. It had a bed with clean sheets on it, a closet full of old gowns and a few dolls on the drawers. The door, though, was quite heavy and was VERY locked. She walked around the room for a little while, trying to find a way out but she found none. After fidgeting for a little while, she was getting bored and decided to sleep. She was still really uncomfortable, so she lay on top of the covers, but curled up and slept, blissfully unremembering of where she was.
