Waiting for Angel to get back. I hope he does not run into Father Frank whatever he is. Willow thought as she, Cordelia, Alexis and Giles Xander were in Cordelia's parlor. Willow looked at Cordelia and was amazed how stoic she was even through times like this.
"Willow here is some tea for you. Don't get up." Cordelia asked looking at Willow. Willow just looked at her and realized the stoicism she had on the plane was crumbling. Cordelia, she knew and always knew, was trying to be the strong one at this moment. Giles was Cordelia's adopted father after own parents were killed by vampires. No one should lose their parents twice Willow thought.
Cordelia went over to Alexis who was just 11 and was in a complete state of shock. Willow's heart bleed for her daughter and even though she intellectually knew her daughter was not at fault emotionally she still felt confused about her daughters action. Willow just watched how Cordelia just held Alexis.
Suddenly Cordelia just started sobbing. This was the first time since Cordelia's parents were killed that she ever saw Cordelia sob. Alexis' arms were just be her side actually Willow thought they never left her side since she plunged the letter opener into her father's heart.
Willow got up and walked over to the two of them and joined them.
They had stayed like that for quite a long time. Willow noticed that her tea was cold. Cordelia composed herself and went to get more tea. Giles Xander had joined them and sat next to Alexis. Willow could see that Alexis was attempting to smile little Giles.
Angel then came back.
"I know who Fr. Frank is", said Angel as he sat down. Cordelia came rushing back in.
Cordelia looked at Angel and said rather impatiently, "Well! Who is it."
Angel stroked Cordelia's hair and soothingly said and i know who you are to.
The three of them just looked at Angel. Little Giles was too young to understand.
"Its here. Father Franks diaries except he is the first one. The first of his kind. Except vampires are not that old they are only 2000 years old. The old bible and other books knew of their future existance and wrote about them. It was a complete misunderstanding on the readers part." started Angel.
"Alright you know how we have an aversion to any Christian artifect but only when used by a believer. Well there is a reason for that vampires and slayers were born during the time of the crucifixion. Jesus died but so supposedly another man - Judas. Except neither heaven nor hell wanted him. Judas is the first vampire. Father Frank is Judas." finished Angel.
"Excuse me hon." Cordelia said with a touch of cynicism. "Father Frank is a priest."
"Thats the irony, his punishment is that he has a soul and can act and walk with humans. But he has a strong blood thirst which he can with great personal pain control. His unnatural children have a demon's soul except for one which seems to be me. I found this scroll in his safe. This is the Judas Gospel and it talks about the betrayer and his children and also about the first slayer and her children. Except the last slayer is called redeemer and she if from the house of David."
"This makes little sense, does this make sense to you Cordelia," asked Willow. "Anyway's whose the first Slayer
"Honey, just read the scroll. You are going a mile a minute and slow down and read it." Cordelia sweetly said to Angel.
