Word of the Day Challenge: Bromide
It wasn't the snorts and almost-giggles that were distracting Dawn. Every time she looked up from her research she would see Spike with his head tilted to one side, Xander's manga comic twisted to the other and an expression of amazement on his face. All followed by a surreptitious glance in her direction.
"If you don't put that away and help me, I swear I'm putting bromide in your blood."
Spike joined Dawn at the book-strewn table and tossed the comic atop an open grimoire. "I thought you'd promised me a live action reenactment."
Dawn rolled her eyes. "Smart arse."
