Part Three

Angel opened his eyes and was suddenly in a dark place, though he couldn't recognize it. He was walking toward someone with open arms. It was a girl and she had the most precious hair he had ever seen. She had eyes that could look through you and stare right through your soul.
Normally Angel would fear that kind of power. He had so many things to hide that he didn't want anyone seeing all the evil he had done, but this girl was different. She accepted him as he was and with no regrets loved him with all her soul. The happiness he had always searched for and thought he didn't deserve was right there. Just a few inches away from his reach. He smiled in pure bliss knowing he would be with his love.
Suddenly before he could see the face of his true beloved something came and pulled her away. She tried to fight it but to no addue. Her lips breathed his name and she was suddenly engulfed into darkness. "NO!!!!!!!" He screamed with all the pain and suffering for losing his one true love and with his game face on he looked at the person that took away his only chance at happiness.
But it was too late. The killer left him alone laughing all the way. Laughing at his suffering. Angel could tell it was a vampire, a strong one, even more strong than the Master if possible. He raged and cursed in Greek. He ran after the vampire but no matter how fast he ran he could not catch up to him. He fell to the ground and realized something fell on his hand.
He looked down and realized that for the first time in his whole immortal-life he was crying. He cried his heart out at all the pain and suffering. He cried for Buffy, for failing her. He cried for all the innocent people he killed, but most of all he cried for his love.The face he would never see. The person he could never touch. The person that was his future.

"Angel! Angel!" Willow started to shake him uncontrollably. They talked all night about everything. Angel apologized for not coming to her sooner but he was afraid she would reject him like all the others. She screamed to him in her mind.
After their little reunion, she started crying. After hiding her feelings for so long they finally came back to haunt her and she cried all night in his strong arms. She felt protected and safe there in his arms. It just felt so right. And when she cried all her tears out, before falling asleep she whispered in his arms: "Stay with me." She felt him nod in response and she fell into a deep slumber in the arms of her love.
But while she was sleeping he suddenly cried out. She woke up immediately and faced him, seeing that he was having a nightmare. She was scared. His cry was so filled with anguish and fear that it felt like a dagger had been struck in her heart.
"ANGEL!" She cried out with more intensity and finally she saw his eyelids open. He looked around the room for a few seconds and relaxed seeing that he was in Willows room. He looked up and saw Willow crying over him. He looked confused and put a tuck of her hair behind her ear. "Willow? What's wrong?" He asked worriedly.
Instead of answering she threw herself into his arms and cried uncontrollably. "Angel, I thought something had happened to you. I thought-" She trailed off and just kept on clinging to him, crying on his chest.
Angel understood now. She was worried for him. He could never understand how such an honest and beautiful person can care for a monster like him but he brushed the thought aside, thinking only of the girl in his arms. He held her and rocked her like a baby, saying soothing words too her to make sure she knew he was all right.
But that was the least he was. He was surely not fine. He kept repeating his dream in his mind and tried to figure out who the girl was. That hair and those eyes were so special and caring. And he didn't even know who she was. He cursed at himself for such a weakness.
Willow finally stopped crying and looked at him with embarrassed eyes. "I'm sorry for ruining your shirt Ange-" She stopped short as she realized he didn't even have a shirt on. Was all that could go through Willows mind. She just stared at his well-defined body and how his ripples moved. She felt a desire of pure ecstasy, but pushed it behind her mind quickly. < I can't think like that! He`s Angel! Buffy`s Angel!! And he doesn't have any feelings for me! Why would he want me?? > She thought sadly.
Angel seeing Willow`s sad face he immediately tried to make her feel better. He cracked a smile for her. "Willow, go to sleep. I`m ok, just had a nightmare that's all."
At her skeptical glance he added, "No really, I`m all right. Come on now. You need you're rest." His worry was clearly written on his face.
She smiled one of those cherry smiles. "You know Angel, that you're eyes show everything that you feel? I really do love you're eyes. You need rest also. Come on. We don't want black circles under our eyes right?" She said with a laugh.
He nodded and put her in his arms once again. They lay there in the bed and Willow finally went to sleep with dreams of Angel. He just stayed awake watching her sleep with a smile on her face. Finally he started to fall asleep. One thought ran through his head as he fell to a deep slumber, < I found my true soul mate >
