Buffy sat in the back of the bus thinking about what just happened. What she and everybody knew abut Sunnydale, it was gone. Sunnydale was now a big hole in the ground. They lost Anya and Spike and a lot of Slayers in the battle to take it back, to kill the First. And now Sunnydale’s a big pot hole, Buffy thought.
She looked around the bus. Faith sat in the seat one with Robin, trying to keep his stab wound from bleeding. Xander sat next to Andrew in seat four. They had both made it through the fight but Xander wasn’t talking to Andrew. It wasn’t because he was mad, it was more of a quite period for Xander. He had lost Anya. She died saving Andrew. And then there was Willow. Willow was fine. She was alive, Kennedy was alive, and they were together. Dawn had made it through the fight. But Buffy wasn’t sure what she was thinking, all she knew was that she’d be off in her own little world for quite a while.
A lot had happened in the last eight years of Buffy’s life; her battles, her deaths, her friends and family. I’m happy that all I have left to do was help locate the other slayers in the world, Buffy thought with a smile. Little did she know that Slayers can’t put anything behind them. They come back. And the longer it takes you to forget it, The harder it is on you when you remember.
Buffy was about to get it all back. And it wasn’t gonna come easy. It all started in L.A. The city of Angels.
