Vamp Wars
"This is sorta relaxing." Buffy said as she sunbathed on the deck of her 3 story house.
"Yeh. I wish it wasn't just us though." Dawn was sitting right next to Buffy.
"What do ya mean?" Buffy sat up and looked at Dawn.
"Well, in Sunnydale, we had friends. Here, its just you and me. Giles is in England with his new wife Olivia. Willow is with Kennedy in New York. Xander is in Los Angeles, along with Faith and Robin. Then look at us, alone, in Rome. I mean its beautiful but i just wish i had someone here with us." Dawn started to cry. " I wish, that we could see Spike."
Buffy had told everyone about how Spike saved them all in Sunnydale, but payed with his life...unlife. Dawn had burst out in tears when she heard. She even tried to jump into the huge crater, which used to be Sunnydale, to look for the amulet.
"I wish he was here too, but we can't bring him back. We've tried everything. Even the locater spell kept pointing to Los Angeles, but when we called Angel, he said he wasn't there." Buffy was in tears by the end of that little speech.
"We didn't try using a vengeance demon to wish him here." Dawn looked at the amulet Anya gave her before they went into the hellmouth. Anya was afraid she had been to hard on Dawn, and wanted Dawn to remember her in a good way, incase she died. When Willow looked up the amulet, she found out it was her old vengeance amulet. Somehow, she had gotten it back, probably with a spell. Then she gave it to Dawn. Dawn hadn't taken it off once, since the day they found out what really happened to her.
"It would probably bring back a zombie or a pile of ashes. Vengeance demons aren't very reliable, except for Anya."
Buffy wiped her and Dawns eyes and looked at her. " Now why don't we go out and cheer ourselves up."
At that moment, the doorbell rang. Dawn and Buffy both stoodup and walked inside. Buffy went to open the door.
"Giles?" Buffy looked confused and happy.
"That was a superb welcoming." Giles said as Buffy gave him a huge hug.
"I'm sorry, i'm just confused as to why your here." Buffy still had tears falling as she heard another voice.
"I'll answer that, B." Faith came out from behind Giles and gave Buffy a hug."This isn't a social call."
"Great." Buffy looked around, then yelled for Dawn.
"I'm coming!In the words of Spike. Don't get your knickers in a twist!" Dawn walked in and screamed an "oh my god" scream. Then she ran up and hugged Giles and Faith.
Faith, Giles and Buffy walked into the living room while Dawn went and got some drinks and chips.
"So, where's Wood?" Buffy asked Faith.
"'roundin up the others." Faith took a sip of her drink.
"Others?"
"Other scoobies." Faith replied."Willow said she found another person who could help,in more then 1 way."
"When are they supposed to arrive?"Dawn asked.
"Tomorrow." Gles answered before Faith got a word in. Dawn and Buffy both spit there drinks everywhere.
"Tomorrow!" They both yelled.
The doorbell rang. "Or sooner." Faith said then smiled.That smile faded as soon as she opened the door.At the door, was an extremely beaten up principal Wood and a crying Willow. "What happened?" Faith asked as she helped Wood inside.
"The demons, they grabbed Kennedy." Faith put Wood on the couch.
"Crap!" Faith punched a hole through the wall, and pulled her arm out again."I am so sorry Buffy, but now that that jerk has Kennedy, he'll probably be on his way."Faith wiped up her hand with a piece of cloth.
"Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on?" Buffy was on her feet now and she looked mad.
"When the others get here. Which should be soon." Giles said as the doorbell rang once again. This time Buffy opened the door and got the shock off her life. Spike was standing there, alive. Well, as alive as Spike can get, which isn't very much. In easier terms, he was still a vampire. She could tell mainly because he was hiding under a blanket. She stood there shocked for about 5 minutes before Spike spoke.
"I'm loving just looking at you ,but i'm frying here so could you invite me in, please?" Spike was waiting kinda patiently but smoking at the same time. By smoking ,i mean he was being fryed by the sun.
"Huh. Oh, i'm sorry. Come on in." Buffy smiled."Spike." She smiled again and moved aside. After Spike, Willow walked in, then Xander and a few slayers, all of which were only 10 or so.She hugged Willow and Xander so hard, that she swear she heard a crack. Turned out, she had cracked something, a hurricane bar. Xanders favourite candy.
She ran up and hugged Spike so hard it knocked him over. Kinda like a football tackle, only, more painful. Then she gave him a kiss that should of ignited his peroxide blonde hair. Oh, that sexy hair.
At that moment, 3 of the former potentials walked in. The first of them, i think her name was Ronah, spoke up first.
"I knew there was something between you two!" Ronah yelled out, when she saw Buffy on top of Spike. Dawn looked at her.
"Your just noticing that." Dawn said as Buffy got off her former lover.
"Its a long story."Buffy said as she reached down and helped Spike up.
"We have time for a sexy story, a *long* sexy story." said one of the little slayers.
"How old are you?" Buffy asked as she moved to hold Spikes hand.
"13."She looked proud to be her age, i mean, who wouldn't be. 13 is a great age, just becoming a teenager but not quite grown-up yet. Good age to be.
"Your to young to hear the story, trust me me on this." Said Buffy as Spike smirked beside her.
"Its a great story though, luv." Remarked Spike.
"I'm a slayer, i can handle." Said the mini-slayer.
"I will tell the fasinating story, when everyone gets here." Said Buffy.
"Pinky-promise?" The little girl held out her pinky-finger.
"Pinky-promise." Buffy said as she grabbed the miniature slayers finger in a pinky-promise lock.

That day at dinner. Willow and Xander sat with Giles and Buffy and talked about how they've been. Faith and Wood caught up...with there lips. Dawn made friends with some of the mini-slayers and helped explain the buffy/spike fiasco.
"So basically, when Buffy came back, she came back right but the chip didn't recongnise that she was alive, so Spike could hurt Buffy. Then , when the singing demon guy came,"Dawn started.
"Wait, back up. Singing demon?" Amanda, another slayer, butted in.
"Yeh, it made everyone sing. It was funny because they thought i was the one who conjured him, turns out it was Xander."Dawn pointed to Xander."That guy. Then after we finished the big group sing, apparently Buffy and Spike kissed."
For the rest of the night, Dawn went on about Buffy and Spike. Surprisingly, the story was longer then you though it would be.
Meanwhile, Buffy and the other scoobies and Gang members talked about there situation.
"So, some big-shot demon, heard about the spell Willow did,and is currently kidnapping Slayers and there demon friends..."Buffy started. Faith interrupted.
"Not just friends, just demons in general." Faith corrected.
"Okay, kidnapping slayers and demons *in general*, and making the demons fight to save the slayers lives."
"No, not just the slayers lives, there own. If they lose, they die." Giles explained as he wiped his glasses with his shirt.
"Oh. So, now Kennedy has been kidnapped and now there after Spike." Buffy was trying to get this, really she was.
" And maybe Angel." Willow inputed.

Meanwhile, Dawn was still telling the story.
"He raped her!" Yelled a shocked mini-slayer named Pheobe.
"No. He tried, but that was *before* he got a soul." Dawn took a slurp of her soda." Now let me finish the story. So, then when she was all teary 'cause of the rape thingy, she blew him off and that made him mad. So, he went to Africa to get a soul..." At that moment, Spike was walking by and decided to butt in.
"Actually..." He sat himself down in there little circle and started to tell the rest of the story. " I had gone to get the chip outta my head. He misunderstood and gave me my soul, not that thats a bad thing..." Buffy overheard and walked over.
"Your not twisting our story around, are ya?" She had her hands on her hip when she turned to the slayers." He does that."
"Only a little." He grabbed Buffy's hand and pulled her onto his lap."Why? Does it bother you?"
"Yes. I like our story." She sat back, against Spikes manly chest and turned to face Lizzie. "Where ya at in the story Lizzie?"
"The rape part." She replied.
"Oh, okay. Spike, will you tell it? Its still hard for me." Buffy looked at Spike with those beautiful green eyes, how could he refuse.
"Sure pet." He kissed her on the forehead. "Anything."
"Ahh. That so sweet. He calls her pet." Said Hayley, another slayer.
"He calls everyone pet, well apart from me." Dawn said with a proud smile. " Ain't that right Spike?"
"Bloody well is, bit." He stuck his palm out." Down low, Nib."
Dawn slapped his hand and started laughing.She put her hand up."Up high." She said between giggles. He slaped her hand and started to laugh too.
"Bit?Nib?" Asked Lizzie.
"Thats his nickname for her.Niblet.Or little bit." Buffy looked at Spike." Why do you call her that?"
"I don't know, just came to mind when i met her." He kissed Buffy again. "Suits her though."
"Not that i don't love this but i promised Lizzie a story and your the best story teller i know, so lets finish this thing together." Buffy said after she broke the kiss.
"Okay then, a story. The night before, her ex-boyfriend had came to town and he brought his wife, how selfish." He heard some "Yeh" and "Oh my god."'s." Buffy had come to my crypt looking for information, as usual." Buffy nudged him and gave him a glare before saying a comeback.
"Yeh, well when i do go for information. It always works out well, if ya get my drift."She giggled.
"I'm a contributor in that, so i know, trust me. So,back to the story, we started kissing, and we..." He was interrupted again.
"They got wriggley in Spike's bed." Faith said from across the room. There were a few "Eww"'s.
"Actually it was more like a coffin-like crypt, but thanks Faith." Buffy yelled across the room.
"No prob, B."Faith yelled just before she finished making-out with Wood.
"It was actually very comfy. Not as comfy as his bed, but still."
Spike laughed."Can i finish the story now..."
"You've been in his bed!" Yelled a spanish slayer, named Carmen.
"Yes. And sometimes, i went to his crypt just to relax next to him in his bed." Buffy answered.
"You did?" Dawn was puzzled.
"I have secrets, even from you." Buffy looked at Dawn." Well i don't now, but i did."
"Uh huh." Dawn wasn't convinced that she didn't have any secrets left.
Buffy kissed Spike and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I missed you." She kissed him again.
"I missed you too." Spike turned to the girls." Anyway, so after that, she broke it off with me thinking it wouldn't work."
"It wouldn't work, i can't keep secrets forever." She smiled.
"Yeh. So, i got mad, being the vampire i am, i confronted her ,but got kinda crazy and tried to rape her. Luckily, i didn't do anything i would regret." He looked at Buffy. "Sorry Buffy."
"Its okay, i'm almost over it." She bent down and kissed him, making Xander wanna barf.
Spike continued with the story for 2 hours, it was very long, but eventually everyone got to bed.

As Buffy was lying next to Spike in her bed, she had a few questions.
"How long have you been back?" Buffy asked.
" Um...about..." Spike was interrupted by strange men with tranquilizer guns. They shot one in each of there necks which knocked them out instantly. They picked up the, still breathing, but not moving bodies, and carried them out of Buffy's window.

When Buffy awoke, she was lying on top of Spike. Spike wasn't awake yet, but Buffy was, so she got up to check her surroundings. She wasn't familiar with the place, so she woke up Spike to check with him.
"Why the bloody hell did you wake me up, I was having such a good dream.. you were in it." Spike said.
Buffy blushed." Spike have you looked around, we're not in my house anymore! "
Suddently he realized the hard floor and woke up. They had no clue where they were or why they were there.
"Do you remeber what happened last night that made us wake up here ?" Buffy asked.
"No. I felt a sharp peircing before I fell asleep though." Spike responded " What do you think that was,pet ?"
Buffy look into the cell next to them and there's Kennedy, and she was asleep.She looked so innocent, but yet she was in such an awful place.
" Look" Buffy pointed to the cell next to them.Spike looked over and opened his mouth to speak, but Buffy got the first word in.
" It's Kennedy, we must be in the Vamp Wars."Buffy said, sounding very worried.
" You don't think they'll make us fight do you?" Spike sounded a little frightened also.
" I hope not, what if we have to fight Kennedy, one of us will surely die! "Buffy said worriedly
They tried to awake Kennedy, but she was out cold, probably from trying to get out of the cell.A hour or two went by until Kennedy finally woke up. She hadn't remembered where she was. Buffy noticed she was awake and called her name to get her attention. She turned around and looked at Buffy and Spike together in the same cell.
"Kennnedy, you're awake." Buffy said , happily.
" Yes, but not-knowing where I am or what I'm doing here! " Kennedy said, in a confused way.
" We're in the Vamp Wars, they'll probably let us out when they want us to start fighting." Buffy answered.
"Oh, now I remember, I already have my demon. How about you ?" Kennedy replied.
"Hello, I am a vampire!"Spike said sarcastically.
" Oh, hi Spike didn't really notice you there" Kennedy said." Well, I did but I thought you were asleep."
The people came to the cell, there was silence. First they let Kennedy out to go get her partner, who was near by. Then they let Buffy and Spike go, to go on to the first opponent. Turned out they had paired the best vampire with the best slayer. Spike and Buffy.
Buffy was really worried. She didn't want to have to fight Kennedy or more precise, fight Kennedy with her boyfriend.

Dawn paced the dining room over and over, until she came up with an idea to rescue her sister.
"Oh. That place. Vamp wars. We could go and see if Buffy is there and figure out a plan." Dawn started." Wait, we'd never get in."
Willow quickily typed something in the search engine.
"Eureka!" Willow screamed out.
"What?" Dawn yelled as she ran to Willow, who was at the kitchen table.
"I have found Vamp wars. Its a game, where people bet on who will win. Its open to the public." Willow said as she typed more words into the search engine.
"Wouldn't the cops of shut this thing down?" Faith asked.She was sitting right next to Willow, at the kitchen table.
"Thats the thing. Its cloaked, only people not intent on hurting the buisness can see the arena. To anyone else, it looks like a block of crumbled apartments."
"Well, lets go. I'm not intent on hurting the buisness. I just want Buffy and Spike back." Dawn said as she grabbed her coat and headed for the door. The others realized that they culdn't change her mind so they grabbed there coats aswell.
As the other slayers got up, willow turned around and stopped them.
"You guys are slayers. If you go then you might get caught. We can't lose more slayers." Willow turned and walked out.

Buffy and Spike walked into the giant arena to be welcomed by cheering and screaming.
" Maybe this won't be so bad, pet." Spike said as he looked around the arena at the cheering fans. Then he saw the demon. A huge Fyarl demon was standing there next to Kennedy. " Okay, maybe not."
"God no. Anything but this." Buffy stepped back in shock." I can't...I can't kill Kennedy."
"By the looks of that demon, we won't have to." Spike gulped." He'll kill us first."

Dawn and the gang walked up to the crumbling apartments and stood where they thought the door should be.
"Okay, everyone think about watching the show and cheering." Yeled Dawn as she closed her eyes. However, even with all the thinking power. The crumbling building stayed a crumbling building."We have to think harder!" Dawn was getting impacient because the crumbling building was still a crumbling building."Now i wish i was just going to watch the show, this is hard." As soon as she said that, a door appeared right behind her and so did the rest of a huge arena.
"Way to go Dawnmaster!"yelled Xander. The gang ran through the doors and headed towards the arena entrance.
They reached the arena entrance to find Buffy standing at one of the entrances, standing next to Spike. Infront of them was a huge demon thing standing next to...Kennedy.
"Kennedy...baby!Up here!" Willow yelled.Willow was in tears when she saw Kennedy squint up to look at her, because she was covered in bruises and cuts. "Is she okay?"
"I don't Will. I don't know." Xander replied as, he too, looked at Kennedy.

Another one of those gun guys came and grabbed Buffy by the arm, to take her to her spot on the field. When she realized she was going up to one of the large booths she started to worry.
"Spike!Spike!Help!" She yelled as she tried to pull away.
"Buffy! I'm coming Buff.."He was cut short, because another gun guy hit him in the back of the head. Everything went dark for Spike.
Buffy looked out of the booth and saw Spike lying on the ground, unconscious with a huge demon behind him. Ready to attack.
"Spike! Get up! Fight!" She started banging on the windows. Then she looked across at the other booth and saw Kennedy doing the same thing. Surprisingly, for Spike aswell. "Get up! I love you!" Buffy yelled again ,then she noticed him start to move, but the demon brought down his fist in the center of Spike's back, knocking him back down."Spike! Oh god! Spike get up!" She started crying. "He'll kill you! Get up!" She looked across again and saw Kennedy crying too.
The demon sent another fist into the center of Spikes back. Thsi time, however, he got up and sent a right hook to the demons face. She saw Spike look up at her and started to cry harder when she saw the demon kick him in the stomach. Spike grabbed the demons leg and pulled him down, then he started hitting him constintly in the face until the demon grabbed his arm and punched him in the nose. Spike jumped behind the demon and grabbed his neck. There was a crack and the demon fell on the ground with a broken neck.Dead.
Buffy turned to the other booth and watched as a huge ugly demon stuck his hand right through Kennedy's chest and pulled out her heart. Kennedy fell dead.
"NO! KENNEDY!" Buffy was in fits of tears. Apparently, Willow saw what happened to Kennedy because she was in just as much pain.Maybe more.
Buffy looked around the room and noticed it was empty apart from her. She quickly looked across to the other booth and saw that they had left. She grabbed a chair and threw it against the booth window, smashing the glass. Then she grabbed a metal pole of one of the walls next to her booth and climbed carefully on to the wall. She walked slowly over to Kennedy's booth and smashes the window in.
Once inside, she knelt down next to Kennedy. She looked up and down the body. Dead. There was no hope of reviving her. Buffy picked the body up. She may be a brat, but she still deserved to be buried and to have a funeral. She carefully carried Kennedy's body across the wall and stepped over the railing. As soon as she spotted Willow and the others, she ran towards them.
Willow was in tears when she saw her. She was lying on the ground, rocking herself back and forth. She was crying while muttering, what sounded like, "not again."
Buffy layed Kennedy down on the floor and tried to comfort Willow. When Willow put her head up and saw Kennedy's body she crawled over.
"Oh god, oh god...baby, wake up..."Then all of a sudden she stood up,"You!" She was pointing at Buffy. She walked over to Buffy and slapped her."This is your fault."Then she started crying again."Buffy, i'm so sorry.Its not your fault, its Spike's!"Her eyes went black."WHERE IS HE?"Her voice had gone deep and evil and she had jet black hair. Then all of a sudden, she jumped and was gone.
Buffy ran over to the railing and started crying and screaming. Willow had Spike by the neck and she was holding his heart in the other hand. Buffy stopped crying and jumped over the rail. She ran towards Willow but she had disapeared.
Buffy heard a crash and looked up to see Willow sitting on the roof looking through a huge hole she had made.
"Hes not dead, so if you want him back.I suggest you get me Kennedy."With that she flew off.
Buffy was so mad she ran into every room she could find before she eventually found what she was looking for.A tank of gasoline. She started spreading it everywhere, then grabbed a piece of paper, which was originally a betting ticket, off the floor. She lit the piece of paper with Spikes lighter and dropped the flaming paper on the floor. Almost instantly the building was a light. Buffy grabbed her friends and left the torched building. Luckily, everyone had escaped before the place blew up, and it started to rain debri and fire.
Dawn yanked her hand away from buffy and started crying screaming.
"Spike!Spike!Spike!"She yelled between sobs."I can't lose you again!Spike!" Dawn heard a laugh and looked up to find Willow floating with Spike still being held by the neck.
"You want him back so bad,"She stuffed his heart back in to his body and gave him a jolt of electricity."Take him." She flew up so high that they couldn't even see her anymore. They heard her laugh as Spike came crashing down to earth. Dawn yelled out and all of a sudden Spike was being flown bak to earth by a griffon.
"YOUR A WITCH!YOU BITCH!"Willow was really ticked off now. She screamed and then disappeared.
"I'm a witch." Dawn was standing there staring at the griffon she conjured."I'm a frickin' witch!"
