Spike shot up from the ground, and Anya followed soon after.
"Duh!" He said, annoyed at himself for having not figured this out sooner.
"... I can't believe you thought of it first." Anya said, just annoyed. Spike looked at her.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Anya shrugged.
"Nothing, nothing... just, you know... You're a vampire. I would like to think that I'm just a little smarter than a vampire..."
"Well you're not." Spike responded a little slower than he usually spoke. "Get over it."
"I'll have you know that I outsmarted demons that way more intelligent than you all the time." Spike just stared at her with an eyebrow raised. "... But what's important here, is that we know where we are now." Spike nodded, and then looked around. It made sense...
Purgatory...

Buffy ran quickly to where her red-headed friend sat clutching her head in agonizing pain... or at least Buffy assumed it was agonizing pain. Nothing less would have made anyone scream like that. Kennedy kneeled in front of her, rubbing her shoulders - continuously asking her what was wrong. Buffy pushed her away and she fell backwards on to her elbows for support.
"Willow," Buffy said calmly as Kennedy gave her the stare of death. She tried to pry the witch's hands from her head, but she couldn't. They were clenched around it like the jaws of life as she continued to scream and thrash around. Tears formed at the rims of her eyes and flowed over freely.
"Stop!" Willow shouted at the top of her lungs. Buffy took her hands away from her - though, somehow she knew Willow wasn't speaking to her - and sat back on her knees. "What do you want?!" Buffy's forehead furrowed and her gaze slowly found it's way back over to the front windshield. She couldn't see the trio of the hooded ones from where she was, but she knew they were still there.
"Were those bringers outside?" Xander, who was standing over Buffy, asked out of breath. Willow had startled him in to an near panick attack. Buffy looked up at him and shook her head, then looked back at Willow. She got back on her knees and started talking calmly to her.
"Will... it's all right." She started. Kennedy stood up, and walked back over to her seat, all the while staring at Buffy as though she wanted to kill her. She rubbed her elbows that she had scraped when Buffy pushed her back, and settled her worried gaze on Willow. "It's okay... can you hear me? Willow... can - you - hear - m--"
Willow's eyes suddenly glowed white - and they lit the whole bus up with near blinding light for a moment... then went down to a dull twinkle. Everyone took their hands, which had been shielding their eyes, down from their faces... and looked at Willow in shocked amazement. The witch looked at Buffy.
"You are the leader?" She asked - but her voice sounded horribly odd. As if three Willow's were speaking at the same time. Buffy stood up.
"Yes." She said. Kennedy shot up from her place in the bus a few seats behind in protest.
"Willow, what's wrong?" Buffy shot her a look of reproach.
"Sit down, Kennedy."
"I'm just as much slayer as you are now... you aren't the 'leader' of me. You can't tell me what to do anymore."
"Sit down, little one." Willow said. Kennedy looked at her, and then sat down slowly.
"Giles," Buffy called. "What are they doing out there?"
"... Just standing." He called back.
"We are the three." Willow's voices said. Buffy rolled her eyes.
"Are you the few and the proud too?"
"You make jokes... are we humorous to you?"
"No, but you're going to be really fun to hurt if you don't get out of my friend's voice box."
"Silly girl... you think you could could hurt the three." Buffy raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms.
"Silly *girl*...?"
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~10 minutes later~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"This one's giving me some trouble." Alexis, one of the smallest of the new slayers, said as she tied one of "the three's" hands behind it's back. All of them were girls.. pretty ones at that. Long brown hair, dark blue eyes, seriously pale skin... all and all, a little creepy as well. The other two sat at the back of the bus hogtied on the floor.
Willow sat rubbing her head and tasting blood in her mouth.
"I'm really sorry, Will..." Buffy started sympathetically. " But we had to do something. Entering another person's body without their permission is a serious violation of the Buffy codes of conduct."
"... I know." Willow said. "But did you have to kick one of them in the head while they were still in mine? I mean... kinda' connected there for a minute."
"Don't try to tell her anything, Willow." Kennedy chimed in. "She's 'the leader'." Buffy rolled her eyes.
"And here we go..." She said, then looked at Kennedy. "Look, I didn't mean to make you mad, but I couldn't figure out what was going on with you standing there in my way."
"You were out of line."
"You always think I'm out of line, Kennedy... want to get someone in here to take my place again and see how we do?" Faith, who had not been phased by any of what just happened... was phased by this. She looked down, but said nothing. Kennedy was quiet. Willow looked at Buffy with concern.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"I hate to interupt this week's episode of as the bus goes round," Giles started from the wheel. "But I feel that we have more pressing matters to discuss." Buffy looked over at the hooded three and nodded. That was definately on the true side...
And why had they chosen Willow to speak for them?
"Hey," Andrew started suddenly. "Is that what I looked like when the bringers were talking through me?" Everyone looked at him silently. He slumped down in his seat a little, and then mumbled... "Because that would have been cool..."
