With blinding speed Buffy plunged a wooden stake into the remaining vampire’s undead heart. She smiled; he crumbled to dust. “Well Giles, I think this covers everybody. All the undead that is.” She claimed.
“Yes, I would absolutely have to be in accordance with you” Giles replied.
“That means you agree, right?” Buffy asked confused.
“But of course—Yes” Giles returned.
“Good, take care G, I got college finals to study for, so I’m gonna bail. Later” Buffy said and then jogged off. The night was silent, with a mild breeze flowing through her blonde hair. For once in her life, everything was great. Most of the major bad occurrences in her life had already been dealt with. Between the Ascension and losing Angel, she managed to come out on top. Besides, she never even expected to make it into college and look at her now. Tomorrow was finals day. Finals she would most likely fail, but at least she halfway studied for them.
At that same time, a new presence was entering Sunnydale with flying colors. They were the USMC, or the United States Marine Core. However, this was not just another routine mission. Its outcome meant life or death for the human race. And of course, Buffy was going to be summoned for help. Driving in military-styled jeeps, they made their way to Buffy’s house in search of her. Ironically, they flew right past her walking on the sidewalk and turned sharply into her driveway. She wondered.
Several men in uniform climbed out of the jeep and stood at attention. Another man, in nothing but a business suit, stepped down and adjusted his tie. Buffy briskly walked up to them and without any hesitation asked, "Umm excuse me guys, but whats with the cast of *MASH* at my house?"
"I presume you are Buffy Anne Summers?" The business man questioned. "Yes, that would be me, and your here why?" She said annoyed.
