For the next couple of minutes, they just stared at each other. Angel was marveling over how Buffy had changed. Having two children had made her figure even more womanly. Her hair was much shorter, and was now a dark chocolate brown. Buffy noticed that Angel looked much healthier than before, probably because he was now very tan. Besides the tan, he just looked good. Suddenly, their concentration was broken when Liam, Janna, and Wesley re-entered the kitchen. “Mommy?” Liam asked. “Yes Liam?” “Who are these people?” “These are some old friends of Mommy’s,” Buffy said. “Are we going to stay here?” Liam asked, hopefully. “Yes, you will be staying here,” Angel replied. Buffy turned to look at him with tears in her eyes. “All right guys, let’s go down to the car and get you stuff,” Wesley said, “I think your mommy and Angel still have some things to talk about.”
“So, you’re human,” Buffy started. “Yes, I am now a full member of society. You are looking at Angel Wyndam-Price.” Buffy felt her jaw drop. “Yes, according to all the papers, Wesley and I are half brothers, on our father’s side. I now run and manage the Los Angeles Museum of Art. I know you want to know how I became human. Well, in that first year after I left Sunnydale, I came across many demons, vampire, etc. I fought the good fight, looking for souls to save. About one year ago, I was contacted by the Powers that Be. They told me that I had fulfilled the prophecy, and that I would get my reward. They made me human, but somehow I got to keep my vampiric speed, strength, and fast healing. Secretly, we contacted Willow, and had her set me up with the necessary papers that I would need to be in the world legally. So, now, here I am.” “Color me stunned,” Buffy said. “So, where do we go from here?” Angel asked. “I made the biggest mistake of my life letting you leave me all those years ago,” Buffy said. “Ever since I left you, I’ve felt empty,” Angel replied. “Let’s not make the same mistakes we made all those years ago,” Buffy said. Angel pulled her into a deep kiss, just as Wesley, Liam, and Janna walked through the door. “So, Wesley, it looks like you’re going to be my brother-in-law,” Buffy said with a grin. Janna walked over to Angel, looked up at her with her big blue eyes, pulled her thumb out of her mouth, and said, “Daddy?” Angel almost burst into tears as he lifted her up into his arms. “Yes, I am your daddy,” he said.
