Prologue
The man leaned over his desk, shocked at what he had just heard. She
just stared back at him, waiting for his approval. She knew that it was coming.
She just had to wait.
"It's a good plan," he finally said. "Can you make it fly?"
"Just you try and stop me."
He sized up the situation one more time, then gave her a slight nod.
She silently stood up and walked out of the office. The mayor leaned
back in his seat, hands behind his head, grinning. That Faith was quite a girl.
Quite a girl indeed.
