Uncle Oz bought me a motorcycle for my eighteenth birthday. Idon't know what type it was or anything, but it got me where I wanted to go. Mother didn't like it much. She said that it was deadly, but she let me keep it anyway. Since it was my last year in highschool Mother and I were making plans for after graduation. I was planning to get my own apartment and a part time job.
I was avoiding girls for the most part. I would have liked another girl, but I knew that if i got one she would end up in a closet somewhere cut up beyond recognition.
Gaduation came and went and I started looking for my apartment. I managed to get a jod from Uncle Oz who owned a video store. Life was good. To good to last.
July seventh tradgedy struck and my life changed forever. It was about eight at night and Mother and I were watching Return of the Jedi. I remember everything about that night perfectly. I remember that mother wore green T-shirt and black jean shorts and that the popcorn was a little stale.
Princess Lieya had just met the Ewok whenthe phone rang. Mother put it on speaker so that she didn't have to hold the phone.
"Hello, Buffy?" Uncle Xander called into the phone. He sounded frightened.
"Yes?"
"I can't find Cordy." He said quickly
"What?"
"I can't find her. I dropped the kids off at my moms house to spend the night and came home. The mail was scattered all over the yard and her car is still in the drive. I searched the house and still can't find her." He was starting to sound frantic.
"Did you check the backyard?" mother asked turnig the TV down.
"No."
"Then go look."
"I am."
There was silence for a moment which was followed my a loud howl as the phone went dead.
