The Bronze was too crowded. As soon as Buffy walked in, she felt the heat wave. She took off her jacket and scanned the scene. The band was hot. Everyone was either dancing or sitting at their tables enjoying themselves. It was a good night.
Buffy walked into the scene more, looking around for her friends. She finally spotted them. Xander and Cordelia were dancing and Willow was watching Oz, from a table, with a huge smile on her face.
Buffy closed her eyes. This was it. She opened them and walked to the table. She knew that htey hadn't seen her coming. That was why they were shocked. Even Oz, on stage, was shocked to see her. Cordelia and Xander came back to the table and looked at her suprised. Willow was smiling happily to see her. Xander looked at her compassionately and even Cordelia looked happy to see her.
"Hey Buff. Long time no see." Xander greeted.
"Hey." Buffy responded. "We were getting worried. Why didn't you call?" Willow looked at Buffy concerned.
"I needed some time alone."
"Are you okay now?" Cordelia inquired.
"I'm not okay yet but I'm getting there." Buffy looked down at the floor. "It's going ot be along haul."
"And we'll be there with you." Willow added. Buffy looked at her. It was her turn to be surprised.
"You guys aren't mad at me?"
"Of course not!" Xander exclaimed. "You'd be suprised at how human we can be." Xander winked at her. She smiled. "Let's have a good time tonight." Cordelia suggested. Everyone voiced in their agreements.
Buffy noticed that Oz's band stopped playing. There was applause. Oz hopped off the stage and pecked Willow on the cheek. He looked at Buffy smiling.
"Haven't see you for awhile. Everything cool?"
"It will be." Buffy looked at him smiling.
"Good." Oz smiled.
"Let's dance, girls." Xander held out his arms. He offered one to Cordelia and the other to Buffy. He lead them to the dancefloor and as the music started, they all danced. One big circle.
And you know what? Buffy smiled and began to enjoy herself. The peace had been made.
