Part Five

"So, Xander found a girl, and Willow found a guy, but their not with each other?" Angel asked, raising an eyebrow.
"That's right. Wierds ville, or what?" Buffy took a sip of her Soda.
"Here comes Xander and that new girl now" Angel said.
"Hello" Xander and Diana greeted them in unison.
"Jinx owe me a Yoo-Hoo" Xander added quickly.
"Angel, this is Diana. Diana, this is Angel" Buffy introduced them.
"And I would be Xander" Xander added. Angel just rolled his eyes and turned his attention back to Diana.
"So your a self proclaimed slayer, it must of been hard to get your hands on all of those books without a watcher"
"Well it was, but I managed. You'd be amazed at all the demon books they have in the New York Public Library"
"Enough book talk" Xander cut in "Let's dance" He took her hand and walked her onto the floor.
"Aren't they cute?" Buffy said.
"Very, but would you like to dance?"
"Don't mind if I do" Buffy lead him out onto the dance floor.
"There's everybody" Willow said pointing out her friends on the dance floor to Oz.
"Let's join them"
"Your friends are so nice" Diana said, as she took her seat in Xander's car. Actually, it was his Mom's, but he borrowed it for the night, since it was raining.
"Do you mind if I turn on a tape?" she asked.
"Knock your socks off" Xander handed her the portable tape holder of his music he kept in the car.
"Nerf Herder? What the heck is Nerf Herder?" She asked, crinkling her nose.
"It's only the greatest band this side of the galaxy! Let me put that tape in"
The song came on and Xander started singing, while Diana listened intently to the music.
When they reached her house they scurried to her porch, under the shield of Xander's jacket.
"You wanna come in?" she asked "We could watch a movie"
"But all the fun's out here" a voice snarled, before Diana got hit in the back.
"Diana!" Xander swung at the Vampire, missed and fell forward. Five other vampires appeared and attacked.
"Good thing my Uncle isn't home" Diana helped Xander off the ground, and took out a stake "Ok, which one of you wants to die first?"
Diana handed Xander a stake and she charged the first vampire. She staked him quickly and pulled the stake out to get another one as it was running to her.
"Got your boyfriend" a female vampire hissed from behind her.
Diana turned and saw Xander unconscious on the ground. A vampire hit her from behind and she went sprawling onto the porch.
"Come on, we're going inside" Diana took out a cross and held it in her left hand , while she used her free one to pull Xander toward the front door.
The vampires didn't come any closer, but they didn't back up either. Diana put the cross in the hand she was using to pull Xander and she unlocked the door.
She dragged Xander in and slammed the door shut. "You better go away Slayer wanna be. We don't need your kind around here"
Diana thought. She stood up and went into the basement. She returned, carrying two super soaker guns and four stakes for the vampires who were left.
"Ow" Xander muttered, as he returned to the land of the living. "What on earth are you gonna do?" he exclaimed, when he saw the water guns.
"They can't come in, so while they're out there we can give them a little Holy Water shower" she smiled.
"I like the way you think" Xander replied.
"Hey! Ya you! You undead rejects from the Coolness Hall of Fame!" Xander called, as he opened the front door. "Your so ugly without your game face, you look better with it on!"
The Vampires started running toward them, but they couldn't enter.
"Hey look I'm out" Xander stuck his hand out of the door way, but quickly pulled it back in, before a vampire could grab it "I'm in" Xander kept repeating this and the vampires started getting angry. "Out ...In...Out...In"
"Enough!" one of the larger ones shouted "Why do you hide in your house? Come and fight like a man!"
"If you insist" Xander shouldered the super soaker 250 and pumped it "Shall we?" he said to Diana, who appeared next to him, armed with her own super soaker.
"We shall"
The two stepped out of the house and started spraying the Vampires. The Vampires skin started to smoke and they screamed. Xander and Diana quickly staked the already hurt Vampires.
"I could say ‘Smokin' but that would be a little too cliche" Xander said.
"Xander!"
"Sorry, I'm just naturally witty" He remarked, as they walked into her house and shut the door.
